We are back.....and oh, what a weather shock. It was beautiful out in Laughlin, NV this time of year.....70s and a beautiful blue sky every day! Oh, I wish I was a snow bird. But, the main drawback to marrying a younger man....it will be several years before he retires, so I am stuck here in the snowy, cold Land of Lincoln.
I did hit a $1200 bonus on a machine the 2nd day there, so I was able to gamble on their money, and even brought some money back with me. Hubs was not so fortunate, and never did hit much on the tables. You get around out there on a water taxi which runs up and down the Colorado river, from casino to casino. That was fun and we had some fabulous food, opting to eat many meals in the outdoor seating areas overlooking the river. Over all, a relaxing fun time.
I see I am 102 pages behind.....I am going to make no attempt to back read. If something interesting or newsworthy went on during my absence, I hope someone will tell me. Or if just plain gossip, I am open to that too.
Our daughter is coming home today for the weekend, mainly to visit my sister in the rehab center. I will go down with her tomorrow, weather permitting.

Apparently I did also
Had a lot of pain yesterday all day so I took Tylenol PM to help me sleep, then this morning I took my morning med's and went back to bed ... woke up after 10 am! 8-o

VG Glam has a laptop. She just doesn't take it with her. It is sort of a pain lugging the thing around.
Mixxy said to say hi to everyone. She is setting up her laptop because she is having trouble with here desktop. Once she gets that done, she will be back with us.
She also said no birthday thread. Actually she said she is just going to ignore the whole day!
