I have included my costs under my quit smoking banner in my signature.

So far I have spent about $285. Some would call a portion of that "wasted money" because I no longer use those items, but I call it a poor investment in my health. Ovarall, I will begin to see a return on all of my vaping investments, both good and bad, in about another month.

A continuing issue that I keep running into is e-liquid that I don't like. That can easily become the most expensive part of my tobacco free life.

Sounds like you're ripe for DIY. My juices cost about 7c per milliliter, and I'm not even trying very hard to lower my costs. If I make a juice I don't like, I throw it away and I don't even feel guilty.

I spent around 250 the first month but now that I've got the initial investment made in gear it's very affordable. I was rolling my own cigs which was super cheap around 15.00 a carton. Which was part of the reason it was difficult for me to justify quitting to save money. But you can't put a price on your health. I've only been vaping for just over a month and can already feel the health benefits. Vape on.

OP I have the same problem, I think we all do. I said some time back the spending will subside, but for me I'm still buying gear lol I have found my preferred vape mod (for now) being the DNA30 clone swapping between drippers and a couple Krakens. My poor Kayfuns are sitting here crying. I have passed 2 of them to the wife so they atleast get used. I'm still looking for that ultimate vape so I'm still buying gear searching.

Vaping since about April 1st... I'd say I've spent about $650 in total since then... I have or have had
2x Ego batteries
2x Ce4 clearomizers
1x evod twist
1x Kangertech aerotank (original)
1x Vamo v5 (sent back after 1 week of use because it broke)
1x Protank 2
1x Aerotank airflow base
1x Kayfun 3.1 clone
4x Various 510 drip tips
1x Efest 18650 Battery case (holds 3 18650 batteries... great if you're on the go! :D)
1x Fogger v4
1x Russian 91% clone
1x iTaste VTR
2x Jwraps (would be 3 but I don't count the vamo because I sent it back 2 days after I put the wrap on... the owner of JWraps was very kind hearted and sent me another one for my VTR because of what happened. I will always go to them if I need something for any of my mods!)
1x Stillare clone
1x Tobh Clone
1x Crown Clone
1x Nemesis Clone
1x FatDaddyVapes Nemesis magnet upgrade and contact upgrade
1x Stingray clone
3x kanthal (30,28,26 gauges)
1x organic cotton balls
2x AW 18650 2000 mah
2x Sony VTC4
2x Panasonic NCR18650PF
4x Sony VTC5
And a ton of juices from various places... my main go to vendors are Goodlifevapor and Nicoticket... I've tried a few including Killer Liquid, Killer Juice, Lucky 7, Awesome Vapor and Steamsauce by epipe mods.

Juice is whats costing me the most at the current moment... Only thing I'm getting next is a Pegasus clone I got from fasttech for $26 and will get the Infinite CLT or the Veritas clone which will be around $35. And looking at it now it actually looks like I have a lot but I don't :D

The other problem is "shiny" - I like shiny, and new, so it's almost an endless circle at times :)
^THIS

Been about 3 weeks, think I've spent $300+! And just ordered a Vamo V5 and Aspire Nautilus tank today. Hoping this stops me for a bit, as I have enough juice now for a couple months at least.

You will be surprised how fast you can use up juice... My 2 bottles of Nicoticket I got are 50 ml and born on 6/4/2014... received on 6/6/2014... both are more than half empty now

I found places that sell the MVP for under $40.00 and i won't pay extra for bling , don't know what you paid for it by your comment of a "big hit" but the MVP standard edition (no bling) is very reasonable .

You can get wraps for them if you like bling. I have a kayfun clone that works great which i picked up for under $20.00 , a few tanks and i recoil my own head's which save me a lot of $$.

The only pricey thing now is juice but i'm working on that , you can get into a never ending money go round but i found that unnecessary and stick with simple and reliable instead of continued spending on mods.

When i read a veterans post in the "ask the veterans " forum in a thread titled "what comes close to a Provari " which said :

That just solidified my decision on the MVP even further , especially when you consider the Provari is close to five times the price.

I paid regular price for the MVP shine because I wanted to buy local. I knew I could get it a little cheaper online, but I wanted a store to take it to in case I had problems. I don't mind gambling $25 online, but over $50 and I want instant customer service. All of my other gear I have bought online (except the starter stuff). I will be the first to admit I have a slight bling addiction. If it sparkles I'm probably pulling out my debit card.

For me I want to be the first to have a piece of gear in my area Doesn't always work out that way, but fun trying. I don't really care what an item looks like so long as it works the way I need it to. I am guilty of looking for new products and I'll toss whatever price is asked for it. I should be looking for deals but I have the I want it now attitude and will pay extra if I can get it rite away. I'm waiting on a battery mod called THE BEAST its a 200W mod so I'm sure that will be the last battery mod I will ever need to buy I'd settle for the Gi2 though. for atomizers there are still many I want to try so that part of spending will go on.

I bought a set of two Evods which came in at around £54 ($92) and a couple of Aspire tanks totalling approx. £20.
Juice is costing me about £7.50 a week on average.
That isn't going to make you feel any better, but what I will say is I didn't have any more money to spend on vaping.
Now I have a little more money coming in and I've just ordered my first shiny. Let the fun begin :)

You're not alone.

First month I must have dropped $450. iTaste 134, pair of Vision Spinners, charger, Nautilus, VIVI NOVA, Aspire ETS and juices. Now I keep looking at my banner and wondering how long it will take to make it back. But the good news is i feel a lot better. Better breathing, more energy, better taste. Not to mention I hope to spend more of my life with my 5 year old girl now. Some things you just can't put a price on.
