Hey Lori:wub:
Thanks sweetie. It's ok though. No one gave me an idea of what to expect though. They tested everything...range of motion, reflexes etc... & then I had to repeat different tasks I might possibly do on the job.

It sucked & was painful at times but I think it went ok. I won't know til probably next week. She has to submit the report to workmans comp & my orthopedic. Fingers crossed:)

Hope it's what you wanna hear ...

other than slightly painful & long, how's your day?

I hope so too. I know it'll never be 100% again but I hope it's not horribly different from where it used to be. But I could tell a big difference between both wrists during some of the tests:(

Other than that it's been ok. Just trying to relax a bit. It's gonna be another long week next week since I'll be out of town for moms birthday next week so I'm being a lil lazy now. I really should wash clothes & my hair but tomorrow is a short day so I'm putting it off til then:D

How was your day?

sorry chim....yeah that's the kinda crap they had me doing when I hurt myself at work...a month of doing that 3 days a week plus working 50 hours every week....they called mine physical therapy
I felt like I was in boot camp or colts recruitment....walk up and down the stairs, now walk across this i beam, now stand on one foot and with one hand toss this ball at the trampoline and catch it, now with the other arm and foot....bend and stretch and lift these weights and ride that bike and walk that treadmill, pull this tension cord this way that way the other way now do it all backwards
now crunches, planks, leg lifts, windmills and move this box of paper to the other side of the room and stock that shelf and unstock it....bla bla bla

thankfully you only had to do it once....i'm sure you passed :)

Yep! It's next Thursday hug her surprise birthday party is next Saturday. She'll be 65:D

I'm glad your broadband is better & I'm also glad you didn't hurt yourself in the process. I'm sure I would've found some way to electrocute myself. Hehehe!

What cha drawing?

Hey Shadav:wub:
Ugggh! I know what you mean. I did that quite a bit for my back too. This was a physical therapist that performed the test though. Oddly, they picked some place totally different from the place I actually went to PT at for my wrist. I think the wrist was worse...ummmm I take that back. The lifting parts were the worst. Especially when I had to lift at shoulder height & above my head:grr:
