What do all the initials mean? They don't match the names...

Did someone beat me to it?
LB is lil brother & MD is mamma Dale:)

Aw, that's great Lori :)

You have diabetics in your family?! 8-o Oh Chim!

My great grandmother was & mom is pre-diabetic. Mom is managing it pretty well by changing her diet so that hopefully it doesn't progress. My oldest sister had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with my niece many many years ago but she didn't manage her health well so now she has it.

    Aw, that's great Lori :)
When he first went in, he was still able to talk, he can still talk, but he just doesn't make sense. But, he would ask for it close to bedtime.

Hehehe! Sorry I messed you up too:wub:

Hummmm...so 43 huh. Maybe I have more time than I think! Imagine it...another 10 years of nightly ice cream parties:laugh:
But I'm sure my bowl is much bigger than your dads:facepalm:
LMBO!!! I'll bet your bowl is bigger too!!

That's a shame. Diabetes is nothing to mess with. :(
My maternal grandmother had it, and my mom's older sister as well. Mom got it too, but not until the very end, and they said it didn't have anything to to with heredity, but I can't remember what they called it now.

I've been trying to curb sugar as much as possible. I cut it out of my morning coffee, and really only add it to tea.
I love McDonald's iced tea, but only get half sweet. I don't drink sodas, but until my mid-thirties, I bet I had at LEAST four a day, sometimes more. :(

    Adult onset Diabetes maybe?

Yep, four a day is quite a few sodas :(
I think that might be what it was called. At that point, she wasn't eating much at all, and they said that since she was in the nursing home, they tested her daily, so she could eat whatever she wanted, they could give her more insulin.

Yeah, I was a caffeine/sugar addict. :( It wouldn't even keep me awake if I had one late at night.
I had a soda the other day, and it was just nasty. So sickly sweet, and I used to LOVE RC cola.

Welp, guess I need to hop off here and get my bath. I'll check back before I go to bed. If y'all are still around. ;)

Smack dab in the middle of the day

At least you don't have to get up early for a 10 a.m. wedding :)

Edit: Okay, see ya' soon :)

Yeah but they said it'll be a short ceremony. 10-15 minutes & then on to the reception which will be outside kinda like a bonfire. They've both been married before. She (my friend) has been married before. He was a police officer and he died about a year into the marriage while on duty in a tragic car accident while chasing someone. She's only a year older than me. And he's been married but has been divorced for many years so they didn't want a big fancy affair. It'll be the first wedding I've ever been too that they require casual dress. She's even wearing cowboy boots with her dress:laugh:

I've cut out quite a bit thanks to Dale and her tea. I used to be really really bad with my soda intake:facepalm: I used to be worse than you Lori.

That's what it was with my sister & great grand mother.

Awwww, I'll keep praying. I cut out sugar completely a few years back. It took a few months, but now I don't even miss it. I get all the sweets through my vape! :D
How's everyone doing tonight. Time for me to sit down to work.

Thanks Shellie! I will! I'm so excited for her. After losing her first husband so young I was worried she'd never want to marry again.

    I'm doing pretty good:)
I hope you don't have too much work to do tonite.
