No.even my son who usually is afraid of dogs (and only wanted munchkin because he was little and fluffy and calm) loves Cookie.
I'm sorry I'm laughing hon, I know it's not funny to you right now ... someday maybe.
*yawn* mornin....just can not seem to wake up today.....i so don't wanna go to work.....

Afternoon, all. I was finally able to get the dogs to play together for a bit today. I was making the mistake of trying to get Cookie (the foster) to come upstairs. Then I realized that downstairs is her domain right now, and better that they meet somewhere where she feels comfortable. So I carried Munchkin downstairs and held him for a bit so she (Cookie) could sniff him. When she seemed calm enough, I let munchkin down for a second, and cookie backed away. so i picked him back up again, and let him sniff her while i held him. All in all, I think this took about 7-10 minutes from the time i walked downstairs.
Then i let munchkin down again and the two began circling each other. I was scared, and ready to jump in at a moment's notice. Well, eventually they started sniffing each other "down there" and running around and stuff. They would each come back to me for pets, and when one came, so did the other. Neither seemed territorial about me, and for that i'm thankful. Eventually, Cookie got tired of this, and went to lay down. Munchkin still wanted to play, and I had to carry him back upstairs again, or risk Cookie becoming scared once again, as she had started shaking. She followed us as far as the stairs, then went to lay down again.
I think it was pretty successful. Hopefully I'll be able to do this more and more until Cookie wants to come upstairs.
