They said with my mom, it wasn't from her hitting the windshield even. (that was back before seat belt laws or air bags too)
They said it's a deceleration type injury, whipping motion. That it happened before she hit the windshield, and would have even if she had had her seat belt on. Not sure if an air bag would have helped, but like I said, there was no such thing at the time. Would have been the summer of 82.

We usually get our first "cool down" (if you want to call it that ) here in Fl. just before Halloween. Usually get's in the 50's or so. This year was right on cue....but our Winters have been weird for the last two years though...

Dale..Snow?!?! Wow!!

Chilly and 36 here. Today is my dd's 17th Birthday. Love that little girl! This weekend, we go to see the college that she wants to attend. Where has the time gone?!?! I still remember when she was an infant, and I sat her in her car seat in the kitchen so I could make cookies... Can't believe she wants to go and move away to college on me!
Praying for wisdom.

Oh, funny thing though....the open house starts in a chapel with our last name! ;-)

finally got me some coffee at 4pm when I went to work

so going today to get me some new phones and move me and my kid onto our own phone plans....$170/month unlimited everything for the two phones from sprint
my dad's going to buy the iphone 5's for me and kya
then we all going out for dinner

1 thing down on my list of to do's
my coworker said she still wants to be roommates, so whenever avery's grandma stops threatening to and just moves out, Bailey will be moving in
going to stay in my house, can't really afford anything else in my area.....so we'll just stay here and i'll start slowly fixing things up....trying to get the house refinanced into my name....we'll see...hopefully I can because I'd really rather not have anymore ties with him other than avery and if he visits with her or not is completely up to him....
