It's been really a great spring/summer so far. The corn in the fields looks AWESOME. So, of course there was a grumpy farmer in yesterday complaining that they're predicting $4 a bushel for corn, and how everyone is going to have to sit on that (keep it in their silos) until the price is better. I guess that it's bad for them, but it also just goes to show that sometimes there's just NO pleasing some people.
Course, it's not over until it's actually harvested. I've seen years where the corn (and other crops) are just beautiful, and we get severe storms that will lay down an entire field of corn before it's been harvested.

The good news is there were no results I wasn't already expecting and in spite of letting myself gain a bit too much lately, I still haven't followed in my familial habit of diabetes so I am a happy little soul!
