Sound's like my kind of omelet ... except for the white cheese ... I prefer hoop cheese :)

Dog's do love eggs don't they?

I see Robin is poking around, good morning luv
The white cheese I got from the Mexican restaurant. I usually order a side of it. It's base is a white cheddar, not sure what they add, maybe a little jalapeno juice?

I don't know what hoop cheese is, I'll have to google. ;)

Rita LOVES eggs. She usually gets to lick my plate when I do my eggs over easy. She cleans up the yolk, and I usually leave a tiny morsel or two for her of the egg. Not much, because they're not supposed to have many table scraps. My vet said a tiny bit of yolk is good for them.

I can't!!!

If I wait too late I'll never go

I'm not even dressed yet
I'm not either, but I just finished eating, and now need to get moving and out of here.

You guys are in the 60's? Lucky! We'll hit 70 today with rain but it's not quite 60 yet.

Gmorn lurkers :) coffee?
Morning Shellie, actually were at 59. :D And, OH awesome  I just looked and our humidity is 100% It's not oppressive humid, but damp feeling out. Guess the low temp offsets that.
We could sure use some rain. It's been a couple weeks at least since we had any real measurable rain here at home.

Well, I'm off to get ready.

CU laters all. :)

I hate that you have to wait so long before getting the biopsy done.
I feel blessed that my cancer was found before symptoms presented themselves.
Can celiac disease be controlled just through diet?

Morning Robin!! I keep missing you, so I had to come back. :)

What I know about it prob would fit in a thimble, so hopefully Welsh is still around.
I think once you have it, you will always have to manage it. I know that's done through diet, not sure about meds.
I believe it starts with gluten sensitivity that inflames the small intestine to the point that you can't absorb nutrients properly.
Then if the situation isn't addressed, you can develop "leaky gut" syndrome where the contents actually spill into your abdominal cavity.

No plans. Hubby is going to be pretty much chained to the house later. His turn for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Poor thing.
Ugh, my sympathies. I'm due in Sept. I believe. :(

Wish I could send you some of our rain Lori ... we're on our second day of it.

I hate shopping in the rain!!! :(

Hoop cheese is just a hard mild cheddar :)
Gal, I do too!! At least the grass has been dewey enough every morning that it's getting some moisture.

I to do. Take your umbrella!!

You would like this runny cheese then I'd bet. It's solid until you melt it. When it's cold, it's almost the consistency of marshmallow cream, (like in the jar) and kind of reminds me of that, only not pure white.

Yeah its basically diet controlled.

It can cause certain other conditions that could need meds but most symptoms should disappear when it's under control. Also..:wub:

I've had it, don't really care for it.
But you know me, I'm not big on cheese :?:

And I'm still sitting here!

I'm not sure, but I don't think that the pain arrives until you've had it for a very long time and are very ill from it. I think that the effects are reversible with time, but the sufferer endures feeling just miserable until the small intestine begins to heal, and start functioning normally again (absorbing nutrients and feeding the body again).

    Okay...I'm really going this time....

    Lori read up well.

You basically feel crap for a few years til they figure it out

Guess I'm lucky to be finding out now, on average it takes 12 years before diagnosis. The symptoms are treated before the cause.
I came across it (reading) several months ago when I was trying to figure out if I was gluten sensitive. Kept getting this rash on my face, and didn't know why. Then had/have a poochy belly if I eat white bread, pasta, (other gluten). I have some of the classic symptoms of gluten sensitivity, which from what I understand is how celiac starts in the very beginning, just with sensitivity.
But, as I mentioned last night, my blood work was negative.

Celiac is an autoimmune disorder, and that if you have one autoimmune disorder, others autoimmune disorders can follow. Your immune system starts attacking itself in other areas as well.
Hashimoto's (a severe form of hypothyroidism), rheumatoid arthritis, and ulcerative colitis are three that come to mind. I'm hypothryoid, as was my mother. My dad suffered from ulcerative colitis, (and if memory serves), if your parents have/had an autoimmune disorder, your chances of developing one are higher.

I also came across this testimony last night about this new exercise program I'm going to be starting, and so I'm really hopeful that I'm on the right track. Her testimony, and recovery results are just AMAZING!!
