I'll take your okra too please! Can't think of a veggie I don't like right off the top of my head...:?:

We got Yoda when DH had a horse fall with him and had to be in a wheel chair for about 6 months. They are almost joined at the hip!
"What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit" His presence helped keep DH sane and they are definitely best friends.:)

I wish I could send it to you. Mom just got some fresh okra, squash, corn & tomatoes. When we talked earlier she was asking what I wanted her to freeze for me. She said that she had 2 bags of okra set aside & I told her she was thinking of the wrong child:laugh: So I had her add more corn & squash to my goodies:)

I bet Yoda not only helped keep him sane but probably helped him recover quickly too:)

Yoda is so pretty :)

Eh, left-over cabbage stew for me tonight
It was good but kind of boring :?:

Sounds good to me. I love cabbage. I ended up grabbing a sandwich from Arby's. I love their market fresh sandwiches. I'll probably cook on Friday but I just wasn't up to it today.

OooOoo fresh corn on the cob!!! Love it!

Funny thing, as I child I wouldn't touch cabbage  Now I love it :)

I love corn! Hehehe! I loved cabbage when I was young but I fell out of love with it for a couple of years for some reason:unsure:
But now I love it again.
Mom always said I was her picky eater. It's true:laugh:
I would smell something & decide I didn't like it:lol:

You sound just like me! Some stuff I look at & say, 'what the heck is that!' No way I'm eating it if it doesn't look delectable.

Ugggh! I hate that too. Reggie picks on me because I don't like my food all mixed together & touching. His argument is that it all mixes together in your stomach. He can say that all he wants but I don't like it all mixed together on my plate:grr: oh & I hate for my bread to get wet & mushy. Me no likeie!

umm, you have eaten a slug......eewwww!!!:shock:

I agree on only firm food! I can't stand to put crackers in my soup because they turn to mush... always drove my mom crazy that I wouldn't just put them in and get it over with... "it will all be going the same place"... yep, if its all mushy and nasty it will go straight in the toilet if you try to make me eat it!

If I want it all mixed together I will make a stew or a pot pie. I took the time to cook it in separate pans because I wanted to taste each flavor separately:mad:!
