 I don't get paid enough as is :p

yeah I'm working on my b'day, I always work holidays and my b'day and most of the times my kid's b'day or at least half a day on my kid's b'days

I would love to be able to work from home but never found a job that would let me :)

:( Chim....try taking 500 mg of ibuprofen and 200 mg of tylenol....I usually have to do at least 500 of each to even take the edge off of my pain...you can take up to 1,000 mg of ibu that's prescription strenght. mixing the ibu and tylenol should help block both types of pain....

Oh it's not my back tonight. I'm just awake:lol: I get restless like that sometimes. I'm going to lay down in a few minutes & try to force myself asleep.
Unfortunately, most over the counter meds don't really work for me. I'll often try taking 2 Advil & 2 Tylenol before taking my prescription meds but Tylenol doesn't agree with my tummy:facepalm: but it sometimes works and I'm just not a fan of taking the Norco that's prescribed to me as well as the other meds. But I take them if I have to.

Haunted, I work from home as well. But I find I got much more done in an office. Way too much distraction here at home! Hope you are able to get some rest tonight, Chim!

Thanks Shellie:)

i hear ya there...pain killers don't work on me
but I've found that taking half ibu and half tylenol will at least lessen the pain somewhat
ibu is good for the inflammation and the tylenol is good for blocking pain receptors, or so they say

 they gave me between 7 and 9 epidurals when I was in labor with kya and then the doc said they couldn't give me any more  so they then put an ivy line into my spine with a slow drip and then in my arm had some sort of sleeping med to at least make me loopy to where I didn't care I was in pain

with Avery I was more prepared, though they didn't believe me til my 3 shot of epi then they just ivy taped my spine :D and then gave me some pills again to more just make me loopy to where I didn't care.....

I'd be lying if I said anything really 'worked' but it does help diminish the pain some or make it more tolerable. When I take the OTC meds it pretty much takes as much as you recommended or more to get any kind of relief started. The other meds work better & faster but knowing this us something I'll have to live with forever I don't want to develop any kind of dependence or tolerance to it so that they have to keep on upping the amount. And I just don't like the 'feeling' that some of the meds give me. I like to be clear headed if that makes any sense.

I've read the same thing about the Tylenol & taking them along with something like Advil or aleve. My doc says it's ok so I take it more than I take what she prescribes but my stomach can only tolerate so much Tylenol before it turns ugly:facepalm::lol: Plus when I take one of the prescribed meds with the 'daytime' (yep I have one for daytime & then one for night time to help me sleep as well) muscle relaxer it makes me sleepy & tired. The regular one doesn't make me sleepy 9 times out of 10. Funny how that seems to work huh. Smh

Ugggh! We're just falling apart aren't we. We should really buy stock in some of these companies so we can get reimbursed for some of the $$$$ we've spent over the years.

What has everyone got planned for the last Holiday of summer?
Myself I figure I Labor enough all year so I'm planning to do nothing this weekend but spend time with momma and the kids and get my vape on.:vapor:
If my mom's tanks come in I'll probably go visit her ... have some coffee cups she asked me to order and am just waiting for the tanks now :)
If not, then I'll probably hide out at home
