Darn it!!! :grr: Why didn't you tell us? :?: We could have celebrated along with me & LB :(

Hi hon!! Didn't know if you'd be back on tonight or not.

Glad you had a good meal even if it was too hot :)

Oh yes! I was coming back:laugh: I just wasn't sure how long I'd hang out at the reception.
It's starts to feel like it's time to leave when everyone's getting a lil tipsy & you can't because you have to drive yourself home.
I did have a good time though.

Glad you had a good time!

Hey Shellie:wub:
You didn't tell us about your birthday til now:grr: bad bad girl!

Aw, no drinky poo for you? *pout*

I try to let it pass without fanfare. My mom and I share a birthday, and she always had family parties, and people would forget it was my bday, too. So after a while, I just learned to ignore it. Kinda crossed over into adulthood as my sister and I always thinking of what to do on "mom's birthday"
    Aw bummer :(

If you're still hanging around next year can we at least wish you a happy one? :?:

I'm sorry Shellie. We'd love to celebrate with you if you let us:D

No. It's ok. Plus it turns out that the houses around the creek are all of the grooms family so many of the people left didn't have to go far to get home.Plus, it's probably not a good idea to drink & drive when you're surrounded by police officers of one sort or the other:laugh: Did I mention that the groom was a police sgt.

I don't remember if you did ... what is it about this girl and dangerous jobs for her men

It's never a good idea to drink & drive regardless of the circumstances!! One or two is okay tho' ... depending on your tolerance that is

Hehehe! I guess she just has a thing for cops...or they have a thing for her:laugh:

Of course it isn't & you know I absolutely wouldn't. If Reggie had been able to go I might've had a glass of wine or 2. They offered me one glass but I declined. The wedding was in the middle of no where. I mean literally in the middle of no where. You're driving and see nothing but corn fields and then boom there's a beautiful creek and some homes nestled back on the hill. I thought it best to not have even a glass, especially with all of those narrow and curvy roads. Better 100% safe than sorry:D

I'm ok, why were you worried?

Ya know, I don't remember if I checked in last  I thought I had.

Cause you weren't feeling well or sleeping that great.
Nope. You not check back in:cry:

It was strange but once you were there you could kinda see why they picked it.

Aww sorry, I'm fine no need to worry :wub:

Did ya steal us wedding cake?

It's ok. You know I only worry cause I 's ya!

I probably ate enough for all of us. In addition to cupcakes, a special Batman cake for the groom & about 4 different cakes (all together as one big cake but all there were different flavors) they had peach cobbler, chocolate brownies & my favorite...banana pudding:drool: There was so much food too but they kept it simple...barbecue, fried chicken, bakes chicken, bakes beans, cole slaw, potato salad & greens. There was a ton of food still left.
