My all time favorite cookie we call Party cookies with plain M&M's ... even tho' they gave me severe indigestion I could NOT leave them alone  So I never make them any more :(

Those are good:drool:
My favorite are the white chocolate macademian nut cookies...don't think I spelled that right but you know the ones:laugh:

Awwwwh! Hey LORI!!!!

Today is the 6th!
Happy Birthday Shadav:wub:
:bday::banana::w00t::party::bday::banana::w00t::party::bday:
Hey there sweetie!!! Sorry you're working so hard!!! :( Counting the days with you til your beach vaca!!

Ugh, this weather :(
I've got a cold sore coming on/in my nose, a headache, and my knees are killin' me!
I guess I'm feeling it too. Off and on for the last three days I've felt just crummy. But it's so weird, sometimes I feel perfectly fine, and then an hour or so later just crummy. Achy, sneezing, like I'm really coming down with something. I'm guessing either allergies, or my body is trying to fight something off.

So, Chim...did you decide on pizza???

Ugh...so the kolobok site is coming across only in Russian. :( Had to re-register. My log in wasn't working...and my favorites...well, I guess have to start over.

Lori!!!
Feels like we both haven't been on at the same time in ages!
How are you doing sweetie?
Dinner sounds good!
I know, it HAS been ages!!

Ohhhh I bet that cake was good!

Ugh! DD sent some chocolate chip cookies here with DH the other day and I've been eating them
Never could resist chocolate chips cookies
The cake was good. DH said it was good too, but to me, the frosting overpowers the cake, or else the cake just has no flavor...which could be the case. The last box cake I made was a spice, and I didn't think it had much flavor either.

For the record, I make about two cakes a year. We do good to eat half, and then I take the rest to work. That's the upside of working with a bunch of men. They'll eat anything you bring....

Honestly I prefer my cake without icing

It's so weird, cuz then it will pass, and I feel just fine. It's crazy.
I will tell you though, my friend in NC was sick earlier this week. She said she felt so bad that the hairs on her arms even hurt.

Yes I am! Next weeks gonna be super busy but after that I'll be in the home stretch:banana:

Awwwh! I hope you feel better too sweetie. I haven't felt great the last few days but unfortunately I knew what was wrong with me:facepalm:

Yep! I've got dominos on the way:banana:
I know I know, it's not hungry Howies but I'm stuck on this Philly cheesesteak pizza.

My mom was the same way. Except for the coconut type icing for German Chocolate cake, she liked it plain, or just lightly dusted with powdered sugar....if it was regular chocolate cake. Her favorite was oatmeal cake with some sort of dryish coconut icing. I thought the icing was nasty, but she loved it.
She was about like me though. She only made a cake a few times a year.

I don't really have a sweet tooth for baked things too often. I crave the icing, and then only on a rare occasion...like today.

Yep! There's are good! Especially if they're fresh:)

Chim, here's the frosting recipe. Seriously, you don't even need the cake....just a spoon. DH even said, "you didn't have to make the cake for me, I'd have eaten that by itself". (he's so easy to please)

I haven't had a Dominos pizza in YEARS. We got really burned out on them and haven't been back. I bet that's a good one though. I love Philly Cheesesteak.

I'm the the biggest fan but ever since Reggie made me try that cheesesteak pizza I've been hooked! It surprised me how good it is!

Just make sure everything, including milk, is room temp. I ended up adding a smidge more milk too. The icing actually looks grainy, but it tastes perfectly smooth. I used Reese's Peanut Butter, OH SOOOOOO GOOD!!

I'm not quite that bad
Me either, but I sure hope whatever she had doesn't make it's way this far. She said she hasn't been sick like that in forever.

Can I move in with GM & GD:laugh:

That's why I was so reluctant to try it. I've never cared for their pizza either but that one is a winner!
