Never had Japanese food

Oh, sorry Lori ... I never did take your nap :(
 I ask only one, small, simple thing.... :D

Ugh...my brain hurts. I went to the shop to fill up my water glass before I left work, (that's where the water cooler is) and someone had just fired up a REALLY stinky, oil smoking machine (mower), and smoked up the entire shop...they had the big garage doors open, but it hadn't cleared yet. I had an instant headache!! It was nasty!! I do not know how those guys do it out there.

We ate it often growing up. The wives of retired soldiers got together and started a restaurant. We used to go every week or so :)
My mom only ever made salmon (or tuna) cakes. I don't know if she'd never had it or didn't have a recipe, or what, but she would serve fish several different ways, but other fish, not salmon. DH is really the one who introduced me to salmon.

I would say SO!!! Can't get much worse than a GAPING hole in ones ROOF!! Well, technically I guess it could, but that would have to rate near the top of the list, just my opinion though.

Yummmm! My GM used to make the best salmon cakes!! I used to eat those things faster than she could cook them when I was a little girl. Reminds me that I haven't made them in forever. Of course they aren't as good as hers but they aren't bad either.

Back at ya!
You know, I'm not buying anymore ice cream. We just don't eat it. DH isn't a big ice cream eater, and I'm not either. The last two times I've bought ice cream, it's ended up with a thick layer of permafrost on it, and I'm just not doing it anymore.
My dad could sure eat the ice cream though. He had a small bowl of it just about every single night.

Do you use a well seasoned iron skillet?? The gal I work with and I were discussing that nothing tastes as good as our grandmother's did. We decided it was the well loved iron skillets and lard.

I seem to eat ice creams all the time! I love it! Ice cream! Milkshakes! Especially thick milkshakes! And it doesn't matter how cold it is outside either. I'll eat it all year round. Yummy!
