Geesh, how many moves is this now??
Well, the storms last night knocked out everything. Our cable, Internet, and home phone. I don't think it was a tree or limbs, as it went out about an hour after the last storm went through. I'm guessing water filled up a split line somewhere, but who knows. It's a common occurrence after two or three big soakers, and that's what we had last night.
Quite a bit of wind too.
OBG, I'm thinking that you must be over around (maybe) the Jefferson County area?? The gal I work with lives in Cedar Hill, well...she's out in the country.
I'm over in corn and soybean country, in IL though. I should have mentioned that. We work in the Belleville, IL area. We're about 20 minutes to O'Fallon, IL. But we live in one of those tiny, rural communities.
I'm thinking it's a good morning to make a Mc'Donalds breakfast run.
I guess today I'll reorganize my vape supplies and get a better idea of what I've got, and make a list of what I might need.
I still just can't wrap my head around all this. I'm hoping something (congress, and/or lawsuits) will be able to stop it, or at the very least be able to get the regs "softened".
I feel so bad for all the owners of the shops and online stores. You know, all these vape shops, well...those that don't own their buildings outright, have prob signed leases (strip malls, etc.).
Those are legally binding contracts, and unless the landlord lets them break the lease, they're stuck with paying the rent for the duration, or declaring bankruptcy, if they can't break the lease.
I was checking out the HR2058 info, and our district rep is actually one of the cosponsors. Makes me at least feel better that I've voted for him many times. LOL's.
