    Good evening everyone

Man those 3days went fast
Good morning Joey. They did indeed and the nights are going even faster  I got up at 3 and have spent 2 hours falling asleep sitting up. Guess I didn’t get enough, hopefully I’ll get to drink my next cup of coffee while it’s hot

Hey there, all. Perry is feeling better after dropping 20-some lbs of fluid. Breathing much easier, but still has no energy. His doctor kept him on the increased diuretics and wants to see him next Thurs. She does not think it is his heart, but she is not a cardiologist, so I disagree and feel his doctor should call his heart doctor and get his July appt. moved up. I keep telling Perry that you have to be proactive nowadays. Oh well, enough about that for now.

I had another eye check yesterday and read one line higher than last week. YAY! He says it will still improve. The inflammation was also better. Taking 3 different eye drops, 4 times a day, is really the only inconvenience. But I am doing what they said. You just don't mess around with your eyes (or your heart, duh).

I have the other eye done in the morning, but I am not worried this time since I know what to expect. I can't wait. No more seeing dull colors. I just wish we did not have to be there at 6:15. I wouldn't want to cut on someone's eye at that time of day. Hope he has his coffee.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning lurkers. :) And Joey.

Hopefully you got a nap in
I got several while sitting there trying to drink my coffee.

I’m off today while my boss cleans a pool, his side hustle for the summer. Back to work tomorrow.

Oh and I definitely slept last night! Woke up at 8:30.

    Good morning Rat2.

Wow that’s a lot of water for Perry! I agree his heart will be involved.

I pray your infection will clear up soon and the other eye goes smoothly.

    Good morning lurkers :)

Lolz! Looks like I missed some fun minus the news about Perry.

I agree. He needs to see a/his cardiologist. I’m glad he is feeling better.

2 years away, Dale. Well, now we are at 1 1/2. I think my tiredness stems from work. I try so hard to have the one customer at a time and whatever happens, happens mentality but the shizz is stressful these days. Then when I get home I check out. Friday night too tired to do anything, Saturday is recovering from the week. Sunday is scrambling to get house in order and preparing myself for the upcoming week. Sometimes beating myself up for not getting more done around the house  thank goodness only 6.7 more years to go.

Hahaha we were just talking about cougars the other day at work. You know you’re officially old when you stop checking out the old guys and start looking at the younger ones (I’m talking late 20s-30s):lol::lol:

    Happy Friday, everyone!!

I've found that stress is different depending on the job. I've had stressful jobs in the past, but loved it. Then there are jobs where you just dread going in and you feel the stress building before you even walk out the front door. It's one of the reasons why I'm kicking the current job to the curb. My next one will be stressful as well, but in a good way. We're building up a new security program at one of the local school districts. The only issue will be learning to brave the sunlight. I've worked nights for so long, I've forgotten what it's like to actually work "normal" hours.

    Good morning/afternoon, Dale

Congrats on the new job, retired! Hopefully it doesn’t take you too long to acclimate to the sun

On work, this too shall pass. At some point haha.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
    Good evening Sara.
Today was a little busier than I like but pleasant enough. Got to see and play with our grandson. Kalli and Bela were here too. Bela is staying here until Monday. Made chicken stir fry tonight, it was good and even Bela liked it.

The second eye surgery went very well yesterday. I am going without my glasses, but seeing a little blurry, but I can make it out. Now, the road signs are another story. I'm not sure if I can't see them because it is so bright now. The sun was coming in the through the back porch and I almost had to put on my sunglasses. :2cool:

I pressure-washed a lot of the driveway and sidewalk today while Perry was mowing. He had the much easier job.

We went to the Moose tonight for supper, but Perry was disappointed. They had crab legs but he said they were overcooked because they would not come out of the shell easily. Oh well, that rarely ever happens with their meals. I still had a good time. I wish they had had a band or something.

I'll probably take it easy tomorrow. I am already a bit sore from the pressure washer. But looking on the bright side, I think I shall sleep well tonight.
