I'm on 12mg and around 1.7ish mls a day (i think anyways because supposedly that's what my tank holds) I know i know as long as I'm not smoking analogs it shouldn't matter...but I'm trying to figure out when I can start figuring out when to drop my nic level, I'm going for 0 then to vape just to vape. Yes I want my pacifier haha

CB, some of the answer is based on how much you smoked, and there is no actual answer as each of us is different. 12 is a pretty drastic cut from full flavor but if it is working then that is fine. You will be able to kind of tell as you go if you are ready to move down a step. Both my DH and I smoked full flavor for over 40 years. He smoked 4 packs a day, I smoked 1 1/2. We started at 24mg and it was a long while before he cut back from 24. I stepped down quite rapidly, what we did do was kept a single carto filled with 24mg for those times when the cravings were there worst. For the first several months I vaped a couple of puffs off that 24mg wintergreen most mornings and that did the trick, occasionally when stress was high I vaped several puffs off it. It was my I really want a smoke blocker...
After 10 months, he still vapes 12 mg most. I was down to 0 nic and enjoying my "pacifier" until I started reading some research about nicotine and alzehimers and as I am far more frightened of alzehimers than I am nic, I increased my nic again. If you decrease and find yourself becoming fidgity, stressed or angry increase your nic again and see if that helps. You can always move up and down based on how YOU feel. It's ok to have bottles of different mg, it's ok to use different mg at different points during the day. Base it on what makes you feel your best.
I found that when we travel (I frequently drive a 6 hr round trip in a day) I vape far more than when I am home so learned to carry 6mg or 0mg for the times when I would over vape (too much nic will give you a headache and stomachache and I speak from first hand experience). I hope this helps a bit. Mostly just do what is working to help you, if you crave more bump it up, if you feel like you can move it down, try it. You won't waste the juice because you can always come back to it, if you want you can always add some 0 and decrease it when you know you don't need it anymore.
