    I'm in Lurker mode tonight :lol:
    MIL's company comes tomorrow so we are as done as we can get. Now I have to get my house in better shape :facepalm: At least it's only the basic cleaning here. Dusting, vacuum, wash floors, bathrooms etc... We are hosting dinners here Friday and Sunday. Going out to eat Thursday and Saturday.

    So.... Friday I'm making lasagna. I'm doing garlic bread knots with it....what else should I have? I'm not good at entertaining :unsure:
    Salad??? :unsure:

    I hope you're getting some rest sweetie! You've been moving & shaking like crazy this week.

    Hummm...when I make lasagna I like a nice salad. I really don't do much else aside from that with lasagna.
    As for dessert...a nice lemon pound cake sounds good to me with some vanilla ice cream. Simple...but delicious.

    Red? Neither hubby nor I are wine drinkers so no clue if white or red are appropriate with lasagna. I have three bottles of red that people have given us. They've been stored in a wine rack so they should be ok. They are, at most, a year old.

    I was mostly playing, but wine, much like lovely ladies as yourself, gets better with age. A year old should be very nice. From what I know, Red goes with Meat.

    This site seems to agree that Red and Lasagna would be OK, but you can check this with what type you have.

    :lol: well I hope you're able to get some rest after the weekend is over.

    You guys don't like salad:shock::lol:
    Try looking into something like a tomato basil salad if lettuce is the issue. I haven't had one in a while but they're really good. Plus it's light so it won't ruin dinner or dessert. If you think you're going to do a bagged salad I'd still maybe grab some tomatoes, cucumbers & croutons as a option for your other guests.
