Let's see, yesterday's high was 56. This morning with wind chill, it was -10 to -20. The actual high today was supposed to be 16, and the low somewhere around 4. I've also seen 0 forecast, but none of them agree. When it's that cold, it's just freaking cold, splitting hairs to figure out what the temp actually is. Warmer weather due in April.

Yes, it most certainly has. We've just been spoiled, the last few years, (overall) we've had mild winters.
I remember a few years ago, smoking outside on May 10th wondering if it ever would warm up.

Yes, different places the records are similar to winters 30 years ago. Someone posted from near Finland around Christmas, that they didn't have snow. Warmest winter there on record for 30 years. It's just weather, going through cycles.
