chim it might be time to threaten to switch companies

years ago I had sbc global (aka yahoo dsl, aka at&t, aka comcast dsl) I kept having issue after issue...come to find out the dumbies kept turning my service off instead of someone else's in the area....

That has got to be so frustrating. Ditto on what Dale said. You demand a pro-rated amount for the days you have missed. You can run all over me for most things, but don't mess with my internet.

That has got to be so frustrating. Ditto on what Dale said. You demand a pro-rated amount for the days you have missed. You can run all over me for most things, but don't mess with my internet.

It is frustrating. Thankfully they moved me up to Level 4 support today & the guy I talked to was more helpful & honest than anyone else. He couldn't say but I could tell he agreed that it might be the whole house dvr setup I have. If it's not fixed after this I'm getting rid of the second dvr box. It's been nothing but trouble.

I wish I could buy unfortunately because of my apartment complex I'm locked into this company. We can't have anything else But rest assured they fixed my bill. I made sure of that

I'm not sure but that 2nd dvr box has been trouble since day one. I got it during a promotion they offered me a year ago & never worried about it much because it's in the bedroom & I never really used it much for dvr but now it's getting ridiclous. Yeah the small number of apartments affected makes me think it's those of us who got in on the whole house DVR deal when they started offering it. I hope so too. I'm glad I still have my phone but my tablet is so much more convient.

Yep! You got it. It just keeps coming up & going back out now. My tablet just lit up with alerts. I'm too lazy to even pick it up right now & see if it's working. Plus it did this the other night when I logged out from here...went out that night & it was back up the next morning & then out again when I got in from work last night. It's a mess.

Sorry MD Another thing that sucks about the phone...can't lurk & talk at the same time. I was on the phone with my sis. My nephew went to the ER last night. He has a ear infection in both ears. Poor thing. He's feeling better now though.

Shad, yes...you might have to trim those nails. Also, don't work too close to the kitchen sink, I've about lost those little cap thingies a couple times down the drain. Also, did you by chance think to grab a THINGIE from IBT???

Well darn it...thought surely someone would have a signal you could "borrow".

I sure plan to rest some. I'm not physically tired as much as mentally. The person that is out, is a key person in the office. The good part is that she has team viewer on her computer, so she's still able to do quite a bit, and help from home. So, I'm truly THANKFUL for that!! Plus, she's just a phone call away, for the most part. Our boss will adjust her days used to compensate her for the time she's helping, so it's a win/win for all.

It's just hard to get back in the working full time groove when I've been used to working part time for the last several years. I worked full time all my adult life until about 7 years ago, so I'm just a bit rusty at juggling...but, I'll be fine. Besides, I have a fresh supply of ALL my supplements!! Surely THAT alone will help.
