Well, my dears, I think I'm going to turn in. I'll leave you with a short bedtime story:

    Once upon a time.....

    the end.
When my son was little, he would always ask for "just one more story, ok?" So we'd say ok, but it has to be a short one. My husband came up with this, and Magoo would just go into hysterics. Now he's almost 27, and it still tickles him.

    That is adorable!
Poor Bela just had the night terror's or something so I had to sit in her room for a few minutes & rock her:(
She's back to sleep now tho' :)

For those of you who have or are going to bed now :)

    O sleep, O gentle sleep,
Nature's soft nurse, how have I frighted thee,
That thou no more wilt weigh my eyelids down
And steep my sense in forgetfulness?

    Really? Why not?
Wish DH felt like that, he eat's way too many. :(

Are you staying up day & night now?

When I was a kid (around 10-ish), Dad made scrambled eggs for breakfast... no, not the first time that had happened.... At the time, I loved scrambled eggs with ketchup...

Apparently, I was right at the end of the incubation stage for a flu virus, as the moment I finished eating they came right back up. Powerfully. Was sick for days. It really rattled Dad.

Since that day, I haven't even been able to stand the smell of eggs cooking.

I have no problem eating things that have egg in them... cakes and such are fine! :D

Fried rice... not so much... I get queasy if I don't pick out the bits of egg.

    Egg Drop Soup? Right out!

Omelets... oh, there are quite a few omelets that I would LOVE to chow down on... except for the egg.

    Can't even do Egg Beaters.

Which is a MASSIVE PITA when I go out for breakfast...

    Awww, that's too bad! :(
I do so love Omelets, especially the one's covered in salsa :D
I understand what you mean tho'; that happened to me years ago in my teen's with Mt. Dew.
Was drinking them when I got sick with something and ever after associated puking with that beverage:)

    heh... had another incident happen....

Lived in San Diego for all of my kid-hood. Around 13-ish, I rode my bike up to the store to get some snacks... beef jerky and Peeps. Don't question that combination!

Anyway, when I say "up", I do mean "up". Coming back home, you could FLY going down that hill!

So... coming back home... really hot 5-speed bike with the shifter on the bar between my legs... like a car shifter... way cool.

I'm building up speed... shift into 5th gear...

Chain jumps the gear. Locks up the rear wheel. Angle of this road is about 35* or so... the sudden deceleration pitches me forward hard enough to literally throw me over the handlebars. I was half-way down the incline. I landed at the bottom... well, that's where they found me (found this out later).

I woke up a day and a half later in the hospital. Everybody was relieved because they weren't sure I was going to live (I found this out later).

Anyway... it took about 20 or so years before I could eat jerky again... only recently have I been able to deal with Peeps.

Oh... for about a year afterward I had to wear a motorcycle helmet when I rode my bike... that was humiliating! Doctor said that any blow, even a mild one, to that part of my head... I wouldn't survive it.

    oh... the staying up thing...

I had a worry on my mind... private matter, but it was enough to make me restless.

And the other thing I was just talking about downstairs.

    Oh! I'm sorry :(
Yes, I saw the convo downstairs, left my own comment ... nothing helpful tho' :)

Eeee! Something simular happened to my brother ... no hospital tho'. He should have been taken but we were really poor back then & nobody went to the doctor much except mom. :) Oh, he was blood from head to toe! Mom got sick & went to bed so dad had to take care of him.

Certainly wouldn't want that to happen!
