Qorax keeps bringing up the old version (which could be made if requested, I'm sure) but this is the newer version with venting through the switch.

No lock. Not needed in my opinion. Minimally recessed button works flawlessly. I wouldn't put this thing in my pocket along with anything, so there wouldn't be anything in there to accidentally activate the switch.

And here is the aluminum tube. My personal favorite.

Yeah that looks horrid. Thankfully I did not have any of these issues, and am very happy with mine. At least though Atmo is awesome with their support, which is another reason I don't mind shopping with them.

i got a VR version... maybe they fine QC'ed these because mine is perfect pretty much.
I think the thinness of the metal is a plus... to keep profile neat; as long as it is strong.

The Paps Lux tube is surprisingly thick; for its weight and feel - so light, its about what 2mm+ ? Love Lux.

I'm either going to find someone who will gold plate at a reasonable price or buy a gold plating kit myself. Constantly cleaning brass and copper is for the birds.

I use big copper screws in my P+'s bottom button... I usually just polish them on 2000 grit sand paper and wipe them down w/ alcohol.
