MK, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Mike, he is in our Lords arms now, I can only pray that the Lord will comfort and fill you and all of the family with the peace that passes all understanding. (((Hugs))).

Thank you all so much. I am grateful for your posts. I finally slept last night after all our guests left. My grandson is staying with me while he is home..that is a comfort to have someone in the house. So many people were here yesterday between my childhood friends, Mike and my old Military friends, my kids friends and family it was just amazing. So much food... one of my friends Church group filled a table with food as well as others bringing dishes.
Mikes sister and brother were comforted by the fact that I won't be alone after they go back to Ca. We are doing it again today, but I don't expect as many people..my little house was bursting at the seams.
All that was wonderful..but it doesn't get me through the wee hours, it is too hard to deal with at times. Mike was always my hero and friend. Life looks more scary with him gone.
