Mamu, what is the thickness of the 1800 mAh's?

I have found that sometimes the nano-techs are thinner tighter cells. I have two or three types of 2200's that I could measure.

I thought they were 7mm, but I just measured one bare bones (without the wrapper) and it's ~7.5mm - so I'm thinking that the 2200mAh @ 8mm depth from hobby king def should fit. woohoo!!

Well poo...I only have 45-90c 2200 nanos which are a little thicker, a 3s with wrapper and etc is 26mm....so probably in the 8mm range. I have an old 3s thunder power that is 20mm at one end and 24ish at the other :D

I have gone through a lot of 2200s....we used them in our combat planes, but the ground was usually the reaper.

I just got the Turnigy 2200mAh batts from hobbyking. They're about 3/4" too long to fit in Max and that's with the tabs folded over. So no go there. :(

Bummer....are they longer than the specs indicated?

No, the specs are correct and are essentially the same specs of the 1800mAh 3 in series, except for the 1mm difference in depth. So that's why I thought maybe the 2200mAh would be doable.

BUT what I failed to realize at the time was that the 1800mAh 3 in series had a PCB that when removed lowered the height more than just bending the tabs which made them a lot shorter than the 2200mAh single ones. oh well lol!
