AW IMR's are ok to discharge down to 2.5v. I have the Panasonic CGR's, (they are the same), and have done that on a few occasions and freaked out when the charger wouldn't acknowledge it had a battery in the charging bay. The light came on about 30 seconds after I put it in the bay. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this all that often, but again, 2.5v is ok. If you go lower than that, I would suggest disposing of it.

don't take this the wrong way... But I could kiss you...

Though most of that is probably the sleep deprivation talking...

wow... holy cow a bunga ... got my oldie but goodie upgraded (LP and SO) from the "man" today!!!!

I sent him an Origen 2 b/f version to make sure the LP would fit and its perfect; still have about 2mm of drip well below the lip.

I had dual coiled it before i sent it to him and just slipped an AW IMR 1600 in there to fire up the coils before wicking and actually forgot that it was dialed in a bit too low (.26 Ohms)...

No issues ... yet.

So I extended a leg a teeny bit and got it to .33 Ohms..

I do not want to press it as it seems extra springs are not yet available and lord knows I waited long enough for the SO kit...

I don't really care for sub .40 Ohms but i figured this Origen would be "the" dripper to take it any lower than .40 as it has great wicking and air adjustability.

I was aiming for somewhere between .35 and .39 ohms since resistance tends to rise after breaking in giving me around .40 to .43 in a couple days...

So actually, what do y'all feel is the baseline for low resistance on this here gold spring (its a beauty)?

I've been waiting on both the upgraded olive drab/black wrinkle Grand AND the sub ohm kit (for my other grand) to be in stock at the same time. The olive/black finally came in stock but the so kit wasn't. I finally went ahead and ordered the olive/black grand before it was gone and lo and behold right after I order.. the so kit comes back in stock LOL.

Oh well.. it's only a couple dollars to ship the kit. Now I guess I'll wait for the new woodvil springs to come up before ordering the so kit.

Can there be such a thing as too much?
I got my Origen bf going at .35 ohms and it has tons of vapor, and good flavor. Not harsh, just so much of it, it's almost overkill. haha.

Thats been my experience with dual coils and why I'd probably use the RM2 SO grand combo more than the SO Reo with the Origen on it...

I mean I've gotten into the habit of chain vaping over the years, and I'll have to treat the Origen Reo like a good cigar... :)

I forgot to measure my original contacts drop for comparison, because I was so excited to get these new contacts in. I also forgot to re-measure my resistance. Anyways

Est. .7ohm coil.
18490 @4.19v at battery
3.89v at atty

Wow. The most amazing part could be that I, the guy who took like five posts to figure out that the kits would be renamed and how to order the right kit, managed to accomplish the rebuild and my mini still works!

Rob, you are the greatest.
