I have the AW's, the Sony VTC4 and VTC5 the new LG's, and others. I vape ~.4Ω, dual coils. No charts or statistics but I'm finding the Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh outlasts them all in the vapable range. They harder hit in the middle than the VTC5. The VTC5 hits hard out of the gate but looses steam in the midrange. Both the LG 18650HE2 2500mAh and the Samsung hit harder in the middle. The Samsung also outlasts them all in my "experience".

Running dual 12wrap Nichrome80 I can tell the difference in the vape. I'm not an expert and I don't have the charts and graphs to back it up but personally I'm sold on the Samsung's based on real life performance.

PS, the AW's are similar in performance, (fat in the middle) they just don't last as long.

I wouldn't know the difference because this is my first REO and came already with the awesome new contacts. I see another REO in my future :)

X-Puppy thanks for the recommendation on the Samsung's. I have a few Sony VTC4's and was thinking of getting the new VTC5's but now you convinced me to go with the Samsung's.

How are they as far as size? Do they go into and are easily removed from a Grand? Still leave room for the spring to collapse?

Thanks for the reply!

They fit fine in the grand, that's one of the mods I run them in. There is enough room for the spring to drop when needed. They work great with the new contacts. So far I haven't been using noalox either. Maybe a thin layer of deoxit once and a while but I haven't had any misfires due to sparking. They do spark @.4Ω but it hasn't caused me any problems... yet. I've only had my contacts in for a few days.

I originally purchaced 2 LP RM2's from Rob, but he sent me 2 standard RM2's instead. I had also purchaced a Triangle for spare parts, well then one of my RM2's got real messed up and was no longer functional. So I decided to make a LP RM2 from the Triangle. Well I didnt have the center pin at the correct length and when I screwed it into my reo it caused the 510 center pin to short out, but this was intermittent and depended on where I grabbed the mod. So my meter check out that it was good, then I held it "wrong" and then *clink clink clink* of the battery rattling.

Honestly tho, my fuse mod is kick ayuss so I think I'm just going to stick with it. :vapor:

What is preferred ~Button or Flat tops?

BEFORE the new kits, you had to use a button top in the REO Grand unless you managed to make the leaf curl down (I wasn't very successful with mine). The new kits have a curl built in the tip, so you can use anything in it:). Flat tops last way longer as a whole than buttons, least the ones I have...
