yeah you gotta watch it, im always vaping to 3.6-3.7 without any performance hit and did once vape one of my poor batt's to 3.5

Holy cow!

When I installed the kit my VTC4 read 3.8v unloaded which was when I was swapping them normally. I didn't bother to swap it after installing since it was hitting so well.

Fast forward to today. Good lord a fresh battery about blew my face off.

I dont think so but I am not a scientist . I no vaping super sub ohm causes sparking in all mods . If mine was sparking heavily I would use noalox or deoxit

EVERYONE PLEASE READ

I did some research into the chemistry of our new contacts. Zinc is volatile with many metals and compounds, but gold is not one of them. There is also not enough Zinc in Noalox for it to be considered "abrasive." Short version: for us super sub-ohmers, a small amount of Noalox to halt the sparking will be beneficial, and will cause no damage to our new contacts.

Godspeed, Reonauts. Godspeed.

Got my kit yesterday but was just able to install it today. I don't usually go below 1 ohm, I mostly wanted to give my ol' trusty Grand a tune up after a year+ of hard work.

Instantly noticed my coils heat up much faster. It's been over 4 hours vaping a 1.1 ohm coil consistently. I've yet to feel that battery drop off I would've felt 2 hours ago with the old contacts and spring. AnD I'm diggin' the throw with the new contact point; it feels extra sure. I'm very happy right now :D

Totally forgot about a new button cover though... I ended up switching out the button after some inner debate and the old button cover won't play with the new button.

One SO kit installed and one spare.

My Grand was abit tired after 8 months of hard work, drops, bangs etc.

Fully stripped and bathed

4.21v off the charger
3.91v loaded across the posts
0.65 ohm coil
0.3volt drop

Need to get some super glue tomorrow to put in a new magnet and maybe some hammerite ? to touch up the scratches then treat her to the new RM2 with a real special coil. :)

She is spitting like a mad man now. Alls good in UKReoville. :)

What's wrong with the button cover? Mine worked fine on the new buttons. If it's too loose just put a piece of thread or dental floss across the button and the put the button cover on.

Ok two kits installed. Seems the bottom spring screw is a little big or something. My mod won't sit without being wobley. I've tightend it as far as it can go. I put the old spring in and it wasn't as wobley. Guess I didnt' notice it as much before.

So the screw head is sticking out just enough to be a pivot point. LOL. Going to have to see if there are any screws on reosmods. Or perhaps send it in to have the recess made a little bigger.

Phew.

Other than that... Everything went smooth as silk.

I did have a loose button cover. A bit of string and bamm not going anywhere.

I did 3 of them and had no problems with the bottom screws. Try what FB said.

Back the screw out and try it again, probably cross threaded and on a slight angle. Had this happen on a fuse mod I did, when I got the screw straight it recessed like it should.

I tried. No luck. Oh well. :D

I also tried placing the screw flush and then screwing it in. Still crooked. No worries. Now I know not to place that one down fast. LOL.
