So im happy with my 510 but im thinking about getting a janty stick for certain occasions. Question tho is what is the Cameo that is comming out in oct? Is it a new and improved jstick? If im happy with my 510 should i hold off till october to get a new pv?

It is going to be a very small device, so unless you want it as an occasional use device? You might be better with the Janty stick? And 510 adaptors due for the Stick any day!

I was wondering how long continously I can leave my Janty stick attached to a power source without damaging the battery? I have multiply USB adapters that allow me to have access to a power source most of the day. I would rather save my battery for the days I am out rather than use it at the house. I know that leaving your cell phone on charge too long is bad for the battery just wondering if that was the case with the Janty Stick.

if the janty stick is anything like a cell phone(having same type of charge protection) you should be safe leaving on pass through because when the light goes of it is done charging. i may be wrong, anybody chime in if they don't think so

I agree with 6606j.

From what I know and see using the JS, there is over/under charge protection built in and it will stop charging when it's full.

I plug mine into a wall-2-usb charger over night every night and have had 0 problems.

if you like the 901 get the adaptor also, ilove it 901 style.(801 great also i just love the 901)

Def get the stick over a 510, 20 min bat life on 510 for me all day on jstick.

The stick turns off charging when not needed.

If charged and plugged in when you take a hit the charge lite will come on to top off battery.

you can vape all day on pass thru and have a full charge when you are done for the day

Thank you very much for answering my questions. Being a "noob" at this I wasn't sure. I just did not want to do anything to harm the stick. The built in passthrough was one of the major reasons I went with the Janty stick.

and it is still the only high end pv that has these features, go janty

I have usb cables everywhere and it always plugged in hasn't hurt it, I just rotate the battery with the spare once a week so they both get use.

I was looking at the built in USB passthrough for 2 major reasons. I know batteries are cheap but if I buy less of them I have more money to spend on juice. LOL Also it becomes less of a hassle to carry. My 801 kit included 2 to 3 bateries carts. Just to go out say for 4 to 5 hours. What I like about the Janty Stick is 1 bat and an extra full cart, and I am ready to go for the night. And it all fits in the great carrying case. I think Janty has an amazing product

Technically your not saving battery life while using it on a passthrough tho cause your using the battery and the pass is charging the battery at the same time? or can you take the battery out and have it still work on the pass?

No I know it won't I just tried it without the battery. But I do wonder if you could use a battery that won't hold a charge because the battery just provides the connection? That way you could use a "bad" battery instead constantly using a working battery?

I bought (4) 10440's from DealExtreme...marked as TR10440, 600 mAh. As stated previously, their mAh rating is pure fiction. Additionally, all 4 batteries refuse to hold a charge for more than 15 minutes regardless of whether charged in the Stick, or in the wall charger.

All 8 of my ICR10440's from Janty work just fine.

Does anyone know if the 500 mAh (#2 above) will work properly in the Stick?

Don't waste your money on those. I ordered 20 of them for another device. Not a single one holds a charge longer than 10 minutes in the JS. Work fine in other devices though. They are also slightly rounder. Making for a tight fit with the JS.

I've been having a similiar issue with my stick.

I have two...was going to give the second one to my dad, but mine stopped working last night. I didn't try a new atty yet. I have it drying out for now...will test it a bit more later tonight. I've had three so far...and have experienced the no vapor issue and now the blue led not coming on.

I love my stick but I feel if this "drying out" period doesn't work, I'm going to have to bug Ethan again and he's such a cool guy I hate to be a nudge.

The only other issue I had/have is that when I hit the button (on all three) sometimes it comes on and sometimes it doesn't. Someone else on another thread mentioned going crossed eyed. I now know the feeling.

Overall I'm still loving my stick(s). Can't go back to a regular e-cig...I'm spolied.

And I'd also like to know where you can get the VG liquid...THANKS!

T'would appear my stick's switch has ceased to function. The LEDs light up when the battery is inserted and also when USb is charging, as normal.... but the switch now does absolutely nothing, rendering the device pretty much useless....

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.... I've not had a vape all day!!!

You need to send it back to Janty for a replacement.
