Only missing the battery charger but I had received an email from Janty prior to the shipping so, no problem there. Yes, I also received a 5 pack of the carts that I ordered.
Oooh, that sounds like a bad idea for PCBs. I would think the you'd at least want to use DI water, and more preferably, isopropyl alcohol. Tap water's never a good idea in electronics, as it is conductive. You might get away with it a few times, but in the long run, it'll bite ya. How come you haven't just asked Janty to replace it?
The same thing just happened to mine this morning. Ah well, it could have been worse - I was in Bermuda on vacation last week. If it died then I would have been SOL! At least today it's only hours until I get home to my spare.T'would appear my stick's switch has ceased to function. The LEDs light up when the battery is inserted and also when USb is charging, as normal.... but the switch now does absolutely nothing, rendering the device pretty much useless....
1 Are the "Tawa" atomizers on jantyusa really just as good as the "real" ones?
2 Ive read a few things about using an 801 atomizer for better cart life? would I need an adapter to use a 801 atomizer then? If so Ill just order that setup instead of the extra tawa one.
I haven't tried a TAWA atomizer yet,, but my understanding is that it's the same as the regular atomizer, just less expinsive since there's no warranty.
The stick uses an 801 atomizer (and comes with one) by default, but you'll always want to have spare atomizers. You only need an adapter if you want to use 901 atomizers or 510 atomizers (once the 510 adapter is available).
I've found the silver attys slide in NO problems.
Seems the black matt finish is thick/sticky enough to make it interesting to screw in/out.
