I am having the same problem with a burnt taste after 5 or 6 puffs. I tend to vape the way I smoked 5 to 10 quick puffs then put it down for a couple of minutes. I used to chain smoke. With my 801 I could feel the atty get hot and I would stop. With the Janty stick you can't feel the atty so I don't have the signal to stop before I get the burnt taste. I have gone strictly to dripping now I am having no problem with vaping the way I need to and hopefully not killing my atty.

im hoping the standard 801 attys work in the janty stick if not the 5 i picked up shipped from totally wicked for 30 bucks will be used in a mod.
if they do work woohoo.

im my cart im using a straw mod ( search for it ) and it seems to suck more from the bottom. had the same issue on my 510 and staw(ed) it and i could almost empty the whole damn cart

had a 510 aty show up burnt and had to constant top off keep it from tasten like crap

same thing happened with the janty stick ( came with one atty only and the vendor didn't have any extra kissbox attys in stock ) thus i have to keep toppen it off so it doesn't taste burnt .

btw when i say burnt i mean i soaked it and pulled black chunks of crap out of it , ( on the 510 i pulled the internal wick crap out and it was burnt to ****.

try a diffrent atty and a straw mod if a cart isn't worken for ya

? 91% alcohol bath 2-8 hours + blow dry clean plus new cart filler + 8-10ml of juice i believe has yielded success on my issue with burnt atty

( i do mean burnt i was pulling burnt chunks out of it during it's 91% soak. )

last time i had one taste like this the wick was burnt to ****

i have no answers but a few suggestions

Yeah, I have a jeep and a manual transmission. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to do this whole dripping thing. I did take advantage of the situation at a long red light though.

I suppose I could always ask my girl for help, otherwise I may just be carrying around 2 atty's already loaded with juice, or else having to pull over to re-drip.

Those 801's will work. I tried to get an answer if they are high or low bridge, but no response. Either way, how good they are compared to the Janty style atomizers is the question. I've heard the Janty atty's are pretty damn durable, and with a 6 month warranty, it may still be the cheaper alternative.

So far, I've heard the Classic Kissbox and BE112's seem to be the atty's to beat for any 801 compatible PV, be it high volt mod, Janty Stick, or regular pen-style.

Carts are too much of a pain, I'd rather drip than deal with the science involved with building a good cart. Not to mention, dripping seems to bring out the flavor much more, almost like the filler was filtering out some of that good flavor!

Yep, I saw the E-Dobit, I'm going to order some to try out, it really does seem like the cure all for drippers-on-the-go.

one can tell it takes 2 batteries. In the "reflection" at the bottom of the pic you can see 2 cross top screws like the Jantystick has.....variable voltage and retractable atomizer is my guess.

I have no idea why it could be doing that !

I work on there every day and have done since we opened it, and have not had any problems at all.

Maybe you need to clean out your cache and see if it continues to do this.
