Got mine today...quick shipping, nice packaging. I like the hit....the USB port is a step above everything else out there.

What I do NOT like is the constant reports of leaking all over the place, when these were advertised as sealed dripping machines!!!!! Forget putting it in your pocket, plan on carrying it around in a tissue diaper which is BS. I hoped I could take it apart and seal it up myself, but I do not see this as something the user could likely disassemble without destroying. Therefore.....will never be a screwdriver contender, even though if it worked as advertised (sealed) it would probably take the cake.

They both have their issues....I can take this one out and have it leak in my pocket, or take the SD out and have it try to set my leg on fire by it pushing its own button in the pocket like it has many times.

I guess I don't get why everyone wants to drip....as long as there's a hole in the atty, it's gonna leak if it's flooded. So don't know what you need to do that for, the 801 atomizer holds a huge amount of juice. Don't they gurgle like crazy when you drip? That's when I go blow mine out! My case is also dry as a bone inside. I guess I just don't get it.

I can only relate my own experience with the JS.

I dont use the USB cable to charge, I simply use that, if I want to extend battery life. I have the cigar charger, and once a battery needs to be re-charged I put it in there and after 70 mins its fully charged again.

On a charged battery the JS runs for anything between 5 - 9 hours depending how much use it receives.

Its now down to two things really,

1) Is the charger working correctly?
2) Are the batteries ( if more than one) duds?

I have a large artists box, with three layers that open out on opening the box. ( Bought at a hobby craft shop)

It has veriouis compartments, which I use to store carts, tools etc.,

I then keep my bottles of juice in the bottom layer. I avoid 30 ml bottles as they dont fit, so if Ihave one of those I will empty contents into smaller dropper bottles.

You dont need to store in a fridge, but in a cool place out of direct sunlight is best.

THe shelf life will no doubt vary, but a general rule of thumb is that the juice has a shelf life of around 2 years.

Hope that helps a bit.

I'm with Kate here--I've never been a dripper either.

The 801 carts store plenty of juice, and I've been seeing something else for the last couple days. I've been using a couple of my old pens alongside the Stick, and when an 801 cart seems to "dry up" in my pen, I put it in the Stick--and get 10-15 more puffs.

These Sticks are EXCELLENT at using the 801 carts fully, and you can buy a TON of 'em super-cheap from RuyanDirect.com.

Are there any pix of the Stick with the 901 adapter attached out there? Or a video of putting it on? Want to SEE if I think I can handle it! After all, in spite of arthritis, I can still fiddle! :thumb:

Love my Janty Stick!

Kamanjah I really don't think you'll have a problem with the stick adapter. It's made to fit well with the stcik (at least mine is). It slides right in.

In terms of the 901, just make sure you have a cart attached. and you don't need to screw the 901 atomizer too hard into it.

I will not be going back to Penstyle atomizers on my stick. This 901 is too flippin sweet.

*EDIT*
oh and you don't have to really worry about leaking the "canal" of the stick. If you overflood, the most that will happen is that the flooding will be between the 901 and the adapter (which is bascially a hollowed out penstyle atomizers that fits in the stick canal).

So no more silly tissue cleaning of the canal, unless you SERIOUSLY overdrip.

I contacted Toby @ ivapour seeking a resolution and he is going to despatch a replacement unit (minus the atomiser and batteries).

I will send my faulty unit back to him so he can send it back to the factory for a little testing.

ivapour don't currently have the wall chargers for the batteries, I will definitely be getting one when he gets them in stock.

The stick itself is a fantastic device.

I have suffered some wear on the paintwork from the removal and insertion of it into the holster. I was thinking of pimping the unit at some point :)

Fabulous customer support from ivapour once again. Kudos to Toby and his team there.

They will most definitley be retaining my custom here in the UK :)

Just wanted to give Ethan some love :hubba:. Janty and Ethan were getting alot of :nah: so I just wanted to let everyone know that for customer service it doesn't get any better than Ethan. He has helped me out twice in the last month, (both times I forgot order # in the paypal payment, my fault). He has always gotten back to me within 48 hours (24 this time). I did e-mail Janty from the web site with no response, this was when Ethan was out of town, so I pm'ed Ethan and got help and a response in 24 hours. They are not paying you enough Ethan! Thanks again!

When I use it it's with an RN-4072. I have 6 old never used 2 hole models. But I still think there's too much air in the vapor. I even went as far as soldering closed the big hole at the bottom. This does reduce the air flow, much better, warmer vapor. IMHO when the 510/Dura adapter arrives, the stick will be gold.

Elendil how much did the kit cost you? I went to Janty USA but their site is down and will not be back up until the 22 of June. Also do you know if any of your atomizers that you are using are RN4072's ? I saw a review that suggested there "may" be compatibility issues with RN parts and true 801 parts.

Almost forgot......First post newbie......Hello every one.
