My Janty Stick is also suffering from a charging issue.

I have the stock unit of one Janty Stick and two rechargeable batteries.

I've just returned from a week long vacation in Greece and had concerns prior to leaving that my device was no longer recharging with the provided USB cable.

I have tried to charge both batteries and whilst it charges the unit lights up red and stays lit no matter how long I leave it connected. Whereas previously it would fully charge and the light would switch off.

No matter how long I charge it for it always no only give me about three puffs with the blue light before changing to the flashing red light out of charge mode.

So I have had to spend the last week smoking lucky strikes :(

Fortunately the analog smoke in Greece were only three euros for a pack of twenty.

Unfortunately my lungs now feel like they used to.

I will seek a replacement and let you know how I get on.

I had to E-mail them to get mine. Pre-ordered, and was expecting a shipment after 6/4. E-mailed Sunday because I hadn't gotten it, and just got it today. TOTALLY AWESOME. I want to order two more! Been vaping for an hour, we'll see how it works in a few days. I'll let you all know if there is a switch problem. So far though, I am on a nicotine buzz. I will definately learn how to cut down, or lower my juice nic level.:):):)

Since the draw is so light. Couldn't you just plug the hole at the battery connection with something (of course still exposing the rest of the positive terminal). I think this is why the draw is too light and why I was thinking about doing this (heard mention of a small cotton ball make that a tiny cotton ball) with the standard auto batteries to still allow some airflow.

I use carts so I haven't had any issue with leaking, but might try some sort of little plug due to the light draw (the other two or 4 atty holes should do the trick maybe even better). Of course it might be difficult to make sure it is something that does not get sucked into the attty while not interfering with the connection.

I think Janty should look at getting rid of the slots on the connection inside the Janty stick, IMHO... Probably solve the leaking too if it could just be sealed somehow at this connection (i.e. get rid of the slots entirely in the connection).

When it works I absolutely love it!!!!

I got my stick about a week ago and I've been having problems with the batteries. At least that's what I think it is.

I have a usb to cigarette lighter adapter from janty which it says is an approved method of charging the stick with. I am continuously driving and I have a continuous power supplied to the cigarette adapter even when the vehicle is off.

I have a total of 3 batteries for it as well. My problem is that even after a full night of charging I'll pick it up in the morning and I'll get one drag off of it and then I'll get the 5 red flashes that indicate a dead battery. :( this happens with or without the usb plugged in.

Any ideas why it won't last or hold a charge?

that is exactly the problem i am having also. it never seems to charge via usb cable because the charge lights dont come on and when i hit it it flashes 5x.

I don't know about most of you, but I still get strong cravings for a real cigarette. This was a problem when all of my "other" PVs just conked out, and never gave me the trusted good hit I so desperately needed. Problem solved:

The JS gives me that constant "good hit." It is leaps and bounds better than any other PV I've ever used. Their atomizers and their carts are also far superior than any of the others I've used in the past. I strongly recommend the JS, especially if you are looking for reliability.

The ONLY negative is that the atomizer chamber is NOT sealed. I haven't dripped with it yet, so that has not been an issue for me. No real need to drip--the carts are awesome. I'm still refilling the old ones.
