Very simple solution, get a USB extension. You know something with a full sized USB female socket at one end and a full sized USB male socket at the other end. This will allow you to use the JS with the included USB wire and just plug it into the USB extension that is connected to your computer or USB to AC adapter.

This solution would only be appropriate if you had one of those laying around. Otherwise it's only a waste of money just to buy a specialized cable just so you can get the length you want. It's cheaper and easier to just find a "longer" standard mini-usb cable. Besides, I would rather work with 1 long cable than 2 short ones.

Yah, but it may be that cable from Janty is the one that will keep your warranty valid. Use #2 cable to "extend" the reach, if you have to.
Seems this is straight from Janty, so not going to argue that point.

I don't know if you are 'up to speed' on the Stick, xkb, but we have been warned by Janty NOT to use a standard USB cable with it, it might burn out the mini-socket in the Stick. An extension is OK, I understand.

There have been requests for a more user-friendly cable to be recommended by Janty, I await developments. In the meantime, my cheapo Hong Kong USB hub has 4 sockets on it dangling on very short cables, giving me a 6" extension for my Janty and it's perfect, given my other circumstances.
