I agree, as well. Make that three of us.
Great review and follow-up. And good timing, as I sit here getting to know my 4 hour old Stick.

Can you explain why I get vapor from the USB port?
A leak onto the USB electronics can totally trash the unit since that is where the re-charge line is situated.
Per the instructions, "For your safety, you must unplug the mini USB cable when the device is unattended."
I don't know why they would say that unless the design is suspect. You can't hurt the battery.
See this is the problem...There is an opening between the atomizer shaft and the compartment behind it to have airflow, I think that is what DW mentions every time he posts. The connection between the atomizer and atomizer screw is fully sealed however.
entire experience
Here's a test I think everybody should do.
Instead of sucking on the stick, blow into it. Watch where the vapor comes out.
On the stick I have, I can blow into it and vapor will come out of the tube (designed area) and out of the USB port. If these were fully sealed, no vapor would come out of the USB connector. But it does. Of course, this means the tube is not air sealed.
No vapor comes out of the end as stated in OP's original post.
So, how about everybody post their findings from a blow? Where do you see vapor come from?
Ludo,
Can you explain why I get vapor from the USB port? I am assuming the USB port is connected to the screw area and liquid can definitely get there. I am not concerned as long as there is something that is protecting the USB electronics from the liquid. A leak onto the USB electronics can totally trash the unit since that is where the re-charge line is situated. (I bought a battery charger too....so I'm sure I would work around it.)
LMAO! The circuit hack in an apt. and a western Union Account to purchase from a supplier in China. Come on, none of these sellers are real companies, they buy this **** from China, you can get atomizers for about $3/ea. same for batteries. Kits, about $10. Then they sell them to you for $40 to $150+
The *custom* stuff... Hacked up 5 dollar flashlights with another 5 in batteries... $100+ all to add a couple worthless volts to an already worthless design.
Don't get me wrong, I know that all sounds deragatory and I actually mean to be facetious; the point is, did you really think you were dealing with a Fortune 500 or something? Most of the these probably started as mods that people started requesting, they're trying and makin a buck at it.. No biggy... Not slammin ya but again, are ya really surprised and, can ya throw that stone....
So, here's some food for thought for ya. E Liquid rocks, hands down. You need something to hold the liquid and a source of heat to vape it. That doesn't mean it HAS to be a battery operated 5mm strand of NiCr wire stuffed in a stainless steel tube. Which just FYI, 30 meters of 40 guage 80/20 NiCr is about 7 bucks, 1 meter of stainless steel 10mm tubing, about $5.00. IMHO, the only thing about the entire design I find useful and clever is the NiFoam.
I remember when Ludo first promoted the stick, it was touted as being a dripping machine. I now see that it has been changed as dripping to top off your cartridge, not directly on the atomizer. Does anybody else remember this??
Quote from the JantyUSA site"
"The Manual Version has a fully sealed atomizer compartment allowing you to drip without a problem."
The atomizer compartment can be cleaned by simply using a tissue paper.
"However, JANTY recommends dripping on the cartridges instead of dripping directly on the atomizer."
q, I think you are thinking of the Prodigy or the Screwdriver, the stick is not a modified flashlight. Different design....
Mine leaks like a ...... Only 3 hr. in my shirt pocket and I have a quarter size spot of liquid on my shirt. It takes another 15 mins to clean the damn thing all around the bottom cap where the led is. Then when I unpluged the the usb connector, liquid on it too. I now charge without the atomizer attached and leave the stick upside down at night to drain.
