I have seen the video reviews and read the comments referring to the tons of "consistent" vapor and throat hit when using this 510. I must be doing something wrong because that is NOT my experience even with a fresh battery, new cart, 2 drips on the atty, or the usb pass-thru. I have 3 atomizers that when cycled all produce minimal intermitent vapor with no throat hit. Am I doing something wrong? This was my 1st e-cig and I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks in advance! :):D:p

Other e-cigs: the JS and V2 on the way!

i'd be interested in this as well - my stick is 2 weeks old and is getting VERY low on vapor production.

I had the same problem, so I gave it two consecutive burn offs and it's been vaping fine since. This method has worked with both of the weak atomizers (Janty, and a 801 purchased elsewhere) I've tried it on.

Yep the burn off did the trick - Thanks,

I also noticed a lag? from when i hit the switch to when the atomizer gets powered / hot(even though the LED lights instantly) - my new way to vape since doing the burn off, is to hit the switch, wait 1 -2 seconds, start to inhale, let off switch at 5 - 6 seconds, stop inhaling at 7 - 8 seconds - tons of vapor now

since i haven't gotten a replay from janty in over a week, perhaps i'll post this here with hope that someone from janty will read it.

"Hi, I recieved my replacement unit today. One problem though, without the usb charger, the two batteries, the belt attachment, etc. When I sent my faulty unit in I sent everything back in it's original package. So right now I have no way of using it. Could you send me the two batteries, usb charger, and belt attachment and maybe a pack of cartridges? I'm sorry for the inconvenience but the instructions for returns were extremely vague, only telling me to ship the product back to said address. "

I forgot to mention the atomizer. Please include that as well. Sorry for the hassle.

How exactly did you do the burn off?

i currently have a 510 with auto battery and am planning to buy the stick V2 with dura adapter when they come out. But i am a bit low on cash at the moment. my question is will the stick make more vapor out of the 510 atty than the dura manual battery? (which i don't have) because if not i might reconsider.

thanks.

i took the cart off so i could look down at the atomizer - then i hit the button for five seconds looking to see the glow of the atomizer - i did this repeatedly in 5-8 second bursts until it would just barely smoke - then drip 2 drops of juice on the atomizer, freshly filled cart, good to go...

Ok, thanks for the info! I will try that this evening. May even help with my other atomizer has some disgusting leftover juice that I can't seem to get rid of :nah::( (I am currently experimenting with different juices from different suppliers).

Did you initially charge the battery's for 12 hours ?
Make sure all is tightly screwed together
Fill the cart up
Press the manual button a second before starting to inhale and keep the button down till finished inhaling

Thanks for replying and I charged the manual batteries as per the instructions and used them for about 20 minutes and put them back on the charger for an hour. The usb pass-thru resulted in the same type of minimal vapor production that only was mediocre every 3-4 puffs. The pass-thru has an inline battery that is used in the JS. Since I have the JS I exchanged a known good battery in the pass-thru with the same results.

I'll try the 1 second wait before inhaling but since the Dura recommendations are for switch depression of 5 second intervals am I risking frying my e-cig componants? I'm new at this and I really need the help! Thanks:)

You need to charge the battery's the first time for 12 hours then 2 hours after each time used. And no you will not fry the atomizer for under 7 or 8 seconds.

Thanks coffee fortunately thanks to parked from dietsmokes i was able to get a spare battery, a usb charger from monoprice for 1.60. unfortunately I have a terrible smoking everywhere 801 atty. it's giving quite weak performance compared to the kissbox atty that is included with the Janty Stick. I'm wondering if it's also because the battery I got is 3.6v instead of 3.7. I doubt it though. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Thanks Smokie, I'll try that but I'm having the same problem on the pass-thru. My problem must be an oral issue and perhaps I'm not sucking efficiently for maximum pleasure. What technique do you recommend? :D

I have a feeling I'm gonna regret this one (guys should *not* give women tips on 'oral technique'! :D ) but...

long and steady..if you just got your 510, it's likely the attys are still smoking off the evil primer liquid. Drop a drop or two directly onto the atty wick, hold wick-side up for a few seconds, then pop a fresh cart on.

Hold the button down for a second, then inhale, slow and steady, and count off to 5 seconds before stopping.

Do this a few times. Any better?

I was doing the 'burn' off too, and it seemed to help when the vapor production got low. But, that seemed to kill 2 of my regular 801 attys. I did it for about 5 or 6 seconds and let it cool somewhat between burns. Did about 4 burns like that on each atty, then suddenly they stopped glowing altogether. So, didn't burn off any more after that, and 2 more attys died at 4-5 days each. Hope I just had a run of bad luck with attys.
