Are you using that mouthpiece and cart to screw the 901 into the adapter?
I'm thinking the mouthpiece is turning allowing the filler to get tangled in the atty wick.
If it turns, twisting the filler, it would be like wringing out a dishrag which would cause the flooding.

Use a mouthpiece with no cart to screw the 901 in the adapter, then slide the regular cart straight on without twisting it.

That's the only explanation I can see if it works well with another device.

You are a friggin genius! Worked like a charm! Thanks never.

I've had the V2 manual for about 3 weeks. It was handy to vape while on the computer but I have a few other ecigs I use more.
For the last week, I have had endless problems with the atomizer. I made sure it was screwed in tight. I take one draw and the red light blinks 5 times and shuts off. I put in a fully charged battery that was charged on the regular charger, put in a new atomizer and the same thing happened. I can hear the sizzle and take one draw and it shuts down again. Pushing the button has no effect. It does not light up at all. After a few secs, if I twist the atomizer until I hear the sizzle, it will light up again, I can get one more draw and it shuts off.
What should I do, warranty it or can you help me troubleshoot?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very frustrated.
Thanks.

I blow mine out onto a tissue, reprime with a drop or two on the atomizer coil, then you should be good to go.

If the flavor lingers too much, you can always blow it out, run it under some hot water, soak it in alcohol for a couple hours, then rinse with hot water again and blow it out and let it dry overnight (battery side up).

According to the manual, the red light blinking 5 times means the battery needs recharging.

Does it do the same thing while hooked up to USB?

By "regular charger" do you mean the wall charger that is optional with the Janty Stick or a regular battery charger?

Is the battery inserted correctly? (+ toward the open end of the compartment).

    Somewhere between here and there
I have been vaping for a few weeks now with the 510. It gives a decent throat hit but I am feeling like I need more. I am also tired of switching batteries so often. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the janty stick. If I read it right on their site, the carts are 1.2ml. Does that mean they hold alot of liquid compared to the 510? I really like the idea of the cheap batteries and longer battery life. I guess that I'm just looking for some advice. Let me have it.

Check out all of the reviews in the review section, Leaford's new top 5, JantyUSA forum, etc. Basically, if you haven't tried an 801 atomizer (what the JS uses) you can expect cooler vapor and more flavor than the 501 (most people prefer it anyway). Battery life will be much better and replacements are a lot cheaper. Cart life should be quite a bit better since the carts are larger than on the 501. I'd imagine it produces similar or slightly more vapor than the 501. It probably gives a little less (a lot?) throat kick than the 501.

If you are feeling that you want more, then I would suggest you move up to a 5 volt or 6 volt device which would not include the Janty Stick (3.7v). Since the Prodigy can be used with 510, 901 and 801 atomizers and is 5 volts and gives probably the best throat hit other than the GG, I would check it out at puresmoker.com

I don't have other mod to which to compare it, but I was in your situation at about the same timeframe and went for it. No regrets. And I still vape with the 510 for that cig-type handling. I have the JS connected to a usb plug by my chair away from the computer. The charging cable acts as a passthrough. I've never had to top off the cartridge more than once a day. When out - I have a car plug and still use the cable and when on the go I've never had to switch batteries - probably since in the car it's charging all the way. You get two batteries, the charging cable, nice 'belt case' hook on type. Nice in the hand, manually operated and there's at least three atomizers that fit it. No problem dripping since the batt is off line.

It is a cool vape yet you can still get a throat hit with a higher nic juice. I keep Janty's RY4 16mg in it and sometimes add a few drops of ECOpure Rich to the cart, and it is a smooth, huge vape. Most like smoking a cigarette but with flavor. Not looking for a throat hit with it, just a relaxing flavorful vape. And I get it with the JS.

So, the one issue I was having was solved with google searching this forum. I found this:

    e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/5858-kissbox-extended-cart-problem.html
(hmm... can't even post links to this forum yet? Interesting, but ok.)

Which suggests leaving the filler out 2mm to get it to wick to the atty. I was just curious (since it seems to work well) if anyone found this to be a problem down the road? Is there something I should do extra?

As a useless side note: I'm loving the Janty Rum juice. Almost just like having a crown&coke all the time. It's great. (drinking coke while vaping)

This thing is tons better than the M8 I got first. It works and I didn't get the wrong charger with it :p I just might be able to give up my lucky strikes, woot!
