Well, I'm in the market for a new device. I am quite happy with my Prodigy, but it's one flaw is it's size. Puresmoker is about to come out with a smaller version. One he has already revealed, given specs, shown pictures of, not played games with my emotions about. So, you have 24 hours to save me as a potential customer. Give me some reason why I should wait for your vaporware and not just go with the Protoge. Doesn't even have to be specific, I understand the design process, but you're harping this thing up like we've all got 8-tracks and you're about to start selling mp3 players. If that's true, great. If it's not then STHU and let us move on.

I made a purchase (order #7382) and attempted to use the JANTYLIQ coupon code and the website proclaimed the coupon was not valid.

Error message:
"Coupon code not found. Please try again.
If you have a coupon code, please enter it below:"

I put a note for in the comment section as per instruction for free juice preference. :confused:8-o:hubba::D

Im sorry but i think we are talking apples and oranges here.

We sell e-cigarettes with integrated circuit boards that will not burn down your pocket or house by accident - all of which are moulded by us, designed by us, and backed by our support.

If you then wish to go and buy a battery, in a metal housing, that _will_ short circuit if you put it in say a metal ashtray in your car - then we wont try to stop you.

Each to their own liking.

You might want to shell out a few extra coins if youre buying the protege, and get PROTECTED batteries, instead of the unprotected ones they come with. Why anyone would sell unprotected batteries for a heavy-use item such as this, is beyond me.

Good luck!

Dbell--You might have better luck sending Ethan an email:

Ethan@JantyUSA.com

Ethan has always been incredibly prompt in answering my inquiries. Of course, I suspect that there will be a lot of catching up to do when they come back from vacation, so the response for you might not be quite as quick.

Honestly, I've been very pleased with Janty. There have been a few bumps along the way, but I've always felt valued as a customer and my issues (not big ones by any means) have always been handled professionally. There are few retailers who offer the kind of warranty that Janty does. :)

I think it's just your bad luck that the USA folks are on vacation right now. :(

Can we get a Janty consensus on the warranty issue for opening the case? Ethan and Ludo seemed to indicate that this should NOT void the warranty, but now Mik has contradicted that. IMHO, just opening it shouldn't be a problem and should, in fact, be a normal part of user maintenance, since we're using liquids in electronics after all.

If Ludo / Ethan told you differently then go with what they told you - Ive only heard that it voids warranty to open it up, and thats why we have a seal in there. From what i know the remark Ludo made about opening it, i believe is made in a "If you must open it, do it carefully so you dont pinch the seal that shows us you have been there" - this is not the same as saying its okay for everyone to do it, and i do believe he said this back with the V1 version, to one guy, in a thread, and not to the world.

So. If youre still in doubt, mail ludo or ethan direct and ask them: then YOU will have YOUR answer on the matter, and YOU can go ahead an open it.

I dont want to say its ok or not ok for anyone to do something here: I believe, in general, that it voids the warranty if you open your JS - i also believe that in some cases we will make exceptions.

Ive found just the opposite, dont know what the variable is. I think the high bridge attys are doing the same thing as dripping, as the atomizer pushes deep into the cart and in effect squeezing juice into the atomizer. I get more vapor and taste from the low bridge atomizer from Janty. Im using high bridge atomizers now as my Janty atty died the other day and I dont like the high bridge as much, but I wasnt opposed to occasional dripping either.

It does seem like it takes the low bridge atomizers a bit longer to pull the juice from the cart, so I would drip 3 drops on the atomizer and by the time I vaped through that, the carts juice would start getting utilized. Ive found I cant use PTB in these high bridge either, as the bridge pushes into the cart so deep sometimes the PTB will stick to the atty and the ptb will stay on the atty when you pull the cart off, making a huge mess.

Thanks for your replies,Mik. I appreciate your feedback even if it isnt a Janty approved method. Figured someone at Janty would have much more experience at this and sounds like maybe I just got a bad atomizer. When I first started using it, did notice it didnt have anywhere near the kick as the TAWA I ordered at the same time, which I found odd. So I have been switching back to the Janty atomizer durring non-crucial nicotine moments, and it finally died all the way this morning. Hisses a little bit but no vapor at all.

What is the best and quickest response method for submitting a warranty claim, support ticket, email, or both? I want a working Janty atomizer as quick as possible, as this one lasted less than 3 weeks, and I already have 20 bucks tied up in the Dura adapter and am not going to spend any more money at Janty until that one is resolved.

No dig on Janty with the above statements, Im a bit grumpy when Im not getting a good nic hit, and Im not going to pepper my statements with smiley faces and winks.

No, we are comparing apples to apples. At it's base all you or puresmoker is really doing is adding battery capacity to existing atomizers. As we see in the mod forums doing that can take a variety of forms. You see a metal tube as a detriment. I drive an 80,000 lb truck, send me a Janty Stick, I'll put it under the left front wheel, the prodigy under the right and drive forward. Are you willing to accept that challenge. By the way, all my ashtrays are plastic, but I have set the Prodigy down on many metal surfaces and it has yet to short out or go nuclear.

But we're getting off topic, I honestly didn't post here to shill for PS. I got here because I was looking for a more "portable" device. While researching the Stick, I saw that Janty was coming out with something new.

"Oh they've revealed it"

"Oh no they didn't, they can't make up their minds what they want to do."

This is why companys have PR people who are in control of the message.

Anyway, unless you can tell me that the Cameo is something other than just another "box mod", you have lost my interest with your dishonesty.

Try talking up your product without dissing someone else's. You will gain a lot more respect.
