Just a side note. Really like the tatoo on your right arm. Sorta fit with the odd look of the twinbox.

I just realised that the new tattoo i just got didnt show up in the video - oh well, ill show that one for the next product haha =)

And heres a pic of the tattoo you saw glimpses of - it hurt so ooo oo oooo much.. but then again, i AM a girl when it comes to pain.

Hey guys,

So as many of you know there has been a lot of turmoil around the subject of The Cameo unveiling, and the other new products that we could not / did not reveal yet.

The short version for those of you that do not know about this is:

I, Mik, made a Cameo competition thread. This thread was in full agreement with Ludo - and the idea was to reveal the Cameo when the competition ended.

I was then told, approximately 14 hours before the competition ended, that i was no longer allowed to tell you guys about it. This ofcourse led to big frustration and even longer posts about the matter.

As i promised, i engaged in alot of talks with Ludo about this subject, and i told him about my vision for Janty when it comes to integrating the customer.

So after a series of long talks, we have both agreed that from now on Janty will try to do its best to tell you as much as we can about products that are either being produced as we speak, or under development - and even ideas that are only on the drawing board, and might not make it.

The reason for doing this is that I personally have always felt it was better to enlighten people, and get their opinion on new products in order to make the end result better for everyone - and Ludo now agrees with me on this.

So by doing this we hope to gain your support, and we hope that you realise that things can and will change from time to time: Maybe we have to change some specs we initially told you we would try to do, - maybe we end up cancelling a product due to whatever reason - or maybe we change a product, implementing features you requested or ideas you added to this.

So all in all, this is something we want to do to integrate you into the process - and we hope you will welcome this initiative - one that i have fought to bring you, and something i feel strongly about!

Regards,

Mik

Mik,
Sounds to me like your vision is to include all of us that follow the Janty forum as a type of Beta sounding board. I like the idea. The more minds brainstorming the better.

As, always, there is also the personalities to deal with and absurdities that come when people get personally involved or take it personally when their idea is not bowed down to. That being said if everyone approaches this with an open mind and a desire to have fun with it, if should be a productive blast!

Yeah, I'll never get why some people get so bent out of shape.

"OMG, it doesn't have features that I specifically want, therefore it's crap!"

I may not be a fan of certain PVs, but it doesn't mean I need to go to their forums and trash it. It just means I won't buy that particular PV.

I want just the opposite... TWO ATOMIZERS ... this adaptor would be awesome plugged into the Prodigy at 6v. hmmmm ideas popping into my head... A y splitter for rca jacks would make a good plastic piece and two 510 battery threads to plug two 510 atties into one 510 Prodigy or other 6 volt mod... That would ROCK!!
Off to Radio Shack...

Nice work on the tat man... like... is that Esher?

Hey,

So continuing on our path of enlightenment i now introduce you to:

The "Baby J"

babyjhires1.jpg

The Baby J specs are planned to be - but *CAN* be changed:

Size: approximately that of an E-cigar - in width and length.

Battery: 800-1000 mAH

Atomizer: 801 classic, with adapters being made for other types

Dripping friendly: YES. Completely - and i mean completely sealed

Cleaning friendly: YES. You are able to easily remove the atomizer
cover, and access the entire atomizer screw on area - and clean till you drop. :)

Charging: Built in USB charging - and it is possible to vape while charging ofcourse.

Voltage: It will run at 3.7 volt - just as our other products, as this is ideal for every day vaping - and appeals to a wide range of people.

Material: The materials will be an Ipod type material for everything except the middle part, and the end cap which will both be metal pieces. This can also change, but thats the plan for now.

Button: The button will be a firm dura-c style button.

LED: As you can see on the picture, there will be a kind of semi-circular LED "ring" - this can also change, but we initially are going for this design.

Additional info:

But..I dont see a USB socket?

Unscrew the cap at the end, to reveal the USB port

So... how do i access the battery?

You dont. The battery is the part going from the cap to the middle (button part) - this entire part is removeable - and contains both USB and battery in one unit.

Will it come with more than one battery?

In all likelyhood we will include an extra battery house in the package you buy - making for a total of two battery houses.

Can the battery houses be charged independently of the rest of the device?

Yes. You are able to unscrew the battery house, and attach it to USB and let it charge by itself.

Are there plans to implement other battery houses containing higher voltages?

This is something we are looking into, but its uncertain at this point.

------------

Let me know what you think guys!

/Mik

So, in essence we're going back to an oddball pen style type battery that the JS got away from? Except now it houses a USB port? This is not only outside the box, it is completely backwards and frankly, just wrong. We have to be looking at a $20 or better battery. No thanks and "check please"!

Want a suggestion, Mik? Make a 3.7 paralled battery in a metal JS type device. You guys are all over the board and succeeding at nothing. We want inexpensive batteries, batteries that are easily obtained in the event of an e-cig ban. The 10440s are fine and provide stealth due to their size.

The cameo -- liquid and heat in a device that houses electronics? What's wrong in this picture?

The reason for doing this is that we are able to produce different battery houses for different reasons. High voltage could be one of them. The reason the battery is going to be sealed inside, is that the battery house also contains the USB port. This makes it unnecessary for you to have an extra charger; And solves the problem of the Jantystick, where you had to have the battery in the stick that you wanted to charge.

This way you are able to charge one battery while vaping on another - or charge both, one while vaping on it.

Sorry, but even if this might come as a shock to you, im not interested in making a "metal type device". I find them ugly. This is a mixture of being a cigar, and a 2009 e-cigaret. I like that, and i think alot of others will prefer this over other options out there at the moment.

Also, this device is not about being inexpensive - its about being, feeling, smelling and looking like quality. If its not your cup of tea - then its not your cup of tea.

If the ban comes, they wont ban a battery house - it can be for anything so thats hardly a valid reason. Also these batteries will be high quality and not of the "inexpensive kind" - which means that yes, they will cost more to purchase, but once you do you also get a product in your hand, and not just a battery that might work for a week or a month.

You dont go around using off the shelf batteries for your mobile phone - and you still manage to use it for an entire day. Even when you run out of juice, you dont wonder why they made a proprietary battery - thats just the way it is, in order to fit the form and function of the device you have.

This is how we envision this working for many reasons. One being easy charging options for multiple batteries, another being the option to swap in and out of high voltage, lower/higher durations, etc.

Oh, and in case you didnt notice, this device is not made for stealth anything. Its a device ment primarily for vaping at home - being trusty, and delivering your daily hits in a consistent way for a long time before it has to charge.

So while i respect your opinion, i kindly disagree with the points you stated.

/Mik

This one looks nice -
and no one will wonder what's up when they see me sucking on an mp3 player. ;)

Just wondering - are the bats going to run $2-$4 and last for 3-5 months?
Are they capable of powering something besides an 'e-cig'.... just in case shipping gets a bit more challenging?

this would appear to be a nice looking USB P/T with ability to 'unplug'.

since it was mentioned in the OP
Closer... but no cigar.

Hey - it's great to see actual prototypes.. helps us know if we should stash our cash for future purchases with Janty.

a 800/1000mah battery is better than 2x 360mah, i would buy the baby j as a replacement of the stick.
it's a bit longer but who does care?
i would feel more comfortable using this in public than my JS, the stick make me feel like an alien..
