Mesh over the wick without res. wire .. Is it possible ?

You're not gonna hurt anything by getting too much heat. The ceramic and SS can take much more than the coil can produce. I don't know if heating the juice on its way to the coil would gain you anything. It might cause the juice to wick easier to the coil giving a better vape. It might rob some of your wattage from the coil giving you a lesser vape. Hard to say really. As the temps drop, I notice my Ody does better after a couple of hits to warm the insides up, maybe the pre-heating would do some good in the winter. I might set one up like this for hunting season. Last year I kept my mod in a pocket with a disposable hand warmer.

Tried on my Provari, but didn't manage to get it right, getting 3.5ohm and above.. How do you tight the wire to mesh? Does the wire wraps to mesh counts as ohm as well? Mesh on wick is 4 wraps
