Are you using tanks I see this a lot with tanks that's why I started using drip tips make sure you put a couple of drops of liquid on your atomizer 1st and try to repeatedly do that as your flavor goes away and if you have too many issues switch and use a standard 2 piece ecig I get mine at Tececig Electronic Cigarettes Jon2011 will give you 5% off and free shipping don't give up you can do it just have to find what works for you

Not hawking anything I believe in this one just as you do what you use I'm just trying to help someone out that may need an easier to use ecig sorry I like something with a lifetime warranty that may cost a bit more but have a wonderful day

You’re new here so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. You just may be too new to know about all of the mall rip-off artists out there, or unaware of the more advanced better and cheaper products available.

If you are looking for a starter kit…stay away from mall rip-offs like Tececig.
I got suckered in by their mall operation. It was the first time I’d ever seen an e-cig, and fell for their spiel hook-line and sinker. Yes their product works, and they do honor their warranty (I replaced 2 batteries under warranty). But they charge about 3X for what you can buy the same stuff elsewhere for.

Tececig is a rebranded 808-D1 of an older generation. They are unsealed and unregulated. They charge up to $139.00 for a starter kit if you want all the bells and whistles. Just think of the amazing PV you can buy for that price!

If you already have a Tececig, enjoy it, but don’t participate in helping them ripping off other people.

What juice/e liquid are you using? It probably isn't that but i am outta ideas. I have had a couple that are REALLY bad. And the smell of one versus the vape of one can sometimes differ, don't know how but it does to me. If it's something you know you like then idk as i have used boge since day one and nvr had a primer taste, but there is a first for everything:)

I filled 5 different carto's, used a 10ml bottle of juice and a few more ml from another filling them. At this rate, I'll run out of juice trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
It could be the juice. Always best to test the juice in an atomizer before committing a carto to it. What juice is it cuz it may need to be steeped?

You might be a good candidate for a stardust/vision type clearomizer. These look good on the kgo. It will hold more than a standart carto (1.6ml to 2ml). There is no filler, as it is a clear tank. This is the simplest to fill and you can easily see how much liquid is in it. Many vendors sell them. Here is one Vision Clearomizers

The visions are easy to rinse them out clean and reuse several times depending on how aggressive your liquid is.

Some people just don't like cartomizers and having to spend alot of time filling them.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, at least then I can see how much is in it. This is all very frustrating. I thought maybe I overfilled them and that's what the problem was more than anything else because they were all dripping and seemed like they couldn't absorb any more liquid.

I was just introduced to the stardust the other day by my brother. It works great, he gave me a LR version the first time around and I would get a burnt taste when I turned the twist battery up to a higher voltage. But now with the SR it all works fine.

Yeah the biggest gripe I have with them is they can't take too much voltage. I burnt the wick on one with my provari. But for the kgo 3.7v they have worked good for me.

I agree that it might be a juice, i recently tried one that had an almost metallic aftertaste. I tried to let it steep but everytime i tried it the aftertaste just seemed stronger so I gave it to my husband. lol. he liked it and said he didnt know what i was talking about...I would suggest trying some different juice!

Oh! LOL Well if that happens then that might be it. I got a second flavor so I'll try that first.

Don't think it's the juice, the flavor in the vapor, when I inhaled was great. It's Lester from Dark City Vapor. I really liked the taste, before that metal taste hit anyway.

DCV has really good quality juice so I am doubting it's the juice just for that simple fact.

Yes, Bill @ DCV has been great. The second battery in the kit had the button almost off so I've got to send it back but other than that, he's been really nice. He doesn't have a clue what I'm doing wrong either which is why I posted here yesterday.

I did shake the juice, out of habit mostly. I saw somewhere it really doesn't need to be shaken but thought its better to be safe than sorry.

Some tobacco juices need to be steeped. Ask Bill about this.

did you add it to a new carto? just asking, when i started i tried washing the same carto out for a new flavor and... well it wasn't nice to say the least. I will say on the money part after you find your setup the price point goes way down... unless you are like me and want to try it all.

I can't afford to try it all even if I wanted to. I just want to quit smoking, for health reasons and because I can't afford it either. I was really hoping this would do the trick.

Yes, new cartos...every time. I've gone through 7 counting the 2 I just filled after talking here. Still taste like metal. :(
