Ahlusion closed their retail stores to the public a couple of years ago. AFAIK they only do online sales.
Just an example to make a point. Replace it with "give every American citizen $1000 per month (Andrew Yang) for sitting home and doing nothing" if you prefer.
The irony here of course being that if allowed, Whitmer would be turning a blind eye towards a Michigan company exposing potential out of state teen customers to the dangers of vaping as long as the company contributed to the economy and paid their Michigan state taxes.
Which means it's probably OK.
I hope you're right. Fingers crossed.
Ahlusion and Mr E-liquid are two great companies here. Killing off their retail outlets without warning, with leases and employees, is real damage that could affect their ability to continue.
Can we drop the politics on this? I haven't seen too many Republicans rallying in defense of vaping. That being said, the way automation and AI are going, UBI, might have to become a reality.
Still haven't answered the question is Corp welfare ok? Are you upset about it and post about it? Or just people wanting a fair wage after leveling the middle class and lower class? (Disclaimer I'm far above that wage).Just an example to make a point. Replace it with "give every American citizen $1000 per month (Andrew Yang) for sitting home and doing nothing" if you prefer.
I would get an order in NOW or earlier. I am sure Mister E will be addressing this, watching their FB page to see what their response is. I can't even articulate my feelings at this point, the gall of that woman, gah! Her voicemail box is full so I was saved from ranting to a machine.

Odd that in your request to stop the political discussion you add your opinion.
Are we allowed a rebuttal, or is the discussion over? You decide.
Besides, politics are the underlying cause in many of these situations, so it is often unavoidable.
Is Mr. E Liquids based in Michigan? For some reason, I thought it was in Illinois.
My son just texted me that a friend of his who works at a BnM was told he could transfer to another state or lose his job. I've run out of adjectives to assign to this travesty.
Nope. Can we drop the politics on this?
The reason I ask is that at least 1 media report said that it wouldn't affect businesses that had adult only areas or the whole store was age limited access.
It's not a political opinion. It's an economic one.
you said:I haven't seen too many Republicans rallying in defense of vaping.
Sure looked political to me.
And in 6 months how many more will be unemployed? Lost their business?
As much as I’d love to see this NOT work what a kick in the knees to the vape shop owners that had to close shop. “Oops! The ban didn’t work. Carry on”
So sad.

But these bans can't fail. When you decrease availability one of two things will happen. One, underage smoking goes up, which is clearly because they were hooked on Juul (statistics can say anything) or vaping continues through grey and black markets showing the kids are hooked. Oh, and then they get respiratory failure and are hospitalized so you can see vaping is even worse than we thought.
Besides, at least this governor didn't try to just shutter all but 2 or 3 favored stores in the state like our current VP did in Indiana when governor. Here at least tobacco flavored can still be sold, and you don't need a super rare license only the bestest of friends of legislators could hand out there.
So I guess it's not political. Just business as usual.
They are headquartered in Grand Rapids and have 4 other stores in Michigan. They have 2 stores in Illinois, they are BloNoSmoke stores. (I believe)Is Mr. E Liquids based in Michigan? For some reason, I thought it was in Illinois.
...What I meant to say was that nobody is going to help us but ourselves at this point. No one is on our side but us.
