Congrats on your one year vapeversary X.
Quick stop in. A few days ago I got some Woodvils ready for the smok'n video, as yet not done as I have a cold and look, sound, and feel just a bit crummy. (Two all nighters past week and not eating right is bad for old broads.) Any way I ran out of RM2s and had to coil up some ERA and Hornets and one Mini A7, after using RM2 exclusively for months. CAN WE SAY "RM2 IS A SPOILER IN EASE OF BUILD AND USE?!!!?" I AM SO SPOILED.
I keep flooding the ERA and Hornets as one grows accustomed to not having to worry about that with RM2. Then there's the very critical coil placement on the Surface and its clone the Mini A7. I have a bunch of both but pulled out only one Min-A7 to use. It happened to have funky skewed post holes making putting coil over air/tube difficult to do. Yeah, I could have dug another out but I had to conquer this one. I did three micro-coils thst didn't go over hole and was getting almost no vapor. (I don't remember placement of fat, doubled silica with regular wrapped coil being so critical about coil position.) So I sat down to do a working micro-coil on Min-A7. I didn't feel like doing anything else that required leaving recliner, either.
Bottom line... It's vaping fine now despite the annoying gurgle BUT it was too damned much trouble and time consuming compared to RM2 and even ERA and Hornet for use with micro-coil and cotton.
BTW... The center attachment post on this Min-A7 is very stable, unlike the A7. But I'm not sure if all the Mini I have are the same. I don't mean to totally knock the A7s. They sre a decent vape and dogness knows very inexpensive and they do fit all my Mini Woodvil catchcups but not the easiest to micro-coil especially if just starting out.
Note funky skewed post holes. Also before one heat and squeeze to bring top loop in closer.
It vaped better having one leg very short and one leg long enough for a mm to rest on bottom of well.
