I love cotton.

Cotton at its best.... IMO

#1 Getting in bed with fresh cotton sheets/pillowcase after airdrying on the cloths line.
#2 Fresh cotton wick on a microcoil with your favorite juice.

Only about 2 weeks into ReoWorld but I'm quite pleased with my Grand, RM2 at 1.5 and cotton wicks. I watch everything Super X does and copy cat, as long as it is simple for me to do. Got the magnifying glass with lites even. "Don't shade your eyes, Plagerize"

I don't mean to upset anyone but isn't burning cotton an awful lot like smoking cigarettes. I mean if it burns it gives off tar that sticks to lungs and teeth.

Bro, you would need to endure several painfull nasty dry hits before you actually burned it till the point where it's actually producing smoke. I have never burned it.

If your actually burning it, i would suggest you need to check your means and methods. Oh, and squonk from time to time

I've yet to have a dry hit from cotton actually, it's fairly easy to tell when you are getting close, so I always squonk in time.

The coil in my atty now is at least a month old, going strong!

I've never tried cotton or any other combustible material because I didn't thank it was safe. That's why I'm trying XC-116 and Ekowool.

I just commented to be sure anyone who read it would consider rather it was safe for them or not, but I haven't heard anything about XC-116 or Ekowood yet.

I hear ya. I was a whole lot more concerned with xc116 after going to the 3m website and reading about it, particularly the sizing (chemicals added to it) that must be properly removed with heat. Especially when you consider that even if it is kiln treated, who's to say that it's done properly? Since I don't feel that good about it, I went back to something that's been in contact with my body for 46 years that I know I'm not gonna be setting fire to. I've probably inhaled more / worse campfire and grill smoke than I'll ever inhale from my cotton wicks especially since I don't burn em

I suggest you read up on the Nextel. Unless you properly burn off the impurities which is in itself a process -( hot torch, glow orange etc.)you are probably inhaling something far more harmful than burnt cotton which as mentioned prior is tough to do if you keep the wick properly wet. By the time you would get to any type of burning stage the dry hits would be very noticable. IMO

So i got my new RDA yesterday from ......... and built it with dual MC and cotton wicks. ohm'd at 1.6. holy crap. first time i coughed from vaping since 2010.

Ok i got Vape mail in today and have been doing allot of reading on MICRO COILS so this is my First and OMG I have fallen in love is is not as small as i could have gone but I have fat fingers and didnt want to use all my Wire in one day so after trying 4 times to get it right and burning ups 3 other coils that looked good but just would not burn right here is what I got. how I got what I got.

Stuff I had that I could use.
28 gage wire
32 gage wire
3mm wick
2.5 mm wick
Igo L (atty)

I went with 28gage Wire and 2.5 mm wick

I wrapped a 3/32 drill bit as close and as much as I could to make it fit between the post of the IGO L I have.
Then re heated the wire and used tweezers to compress the coil.
Re installed the drill bit so i would not lose shape of the coil and installed it on the IGO L
Fired the empty coil and used tweezers to compress it again when they were red.
Below you can see the empty coil



Time for some wick I took 2.5mm wick and folded it because of the size of the coil and got it in the coil..
Add juice



ok let see where is ohm's out at I was shooting for 2.0 (I missed the mark) but not by much another wrap or 2 and I am golden



OK now for what I love about it.
More Vapor and I don't mean like going from 100% pg to 80/20 pg/vg
More like 100% pg to 50/50 pg/vg and thick clouds
TH is almost dbl
Because it is above 1.2ohms I can use my VV VW mods

I will be building a coil around a 1/16 drill bit as soon as my new atty comes in because it will have holes in the post making it more easy to put the coil in

Btw, what rebuildable are people using on their reo's?
