Thankyou player one.
The last time I went I said I wouldn't return again because it had rained 3 out of the 4 times I have been but I am missing it a lot.

It wouldn't be right if there wasn't some rain at Spa. I think out of all the races I've seen there, it's only been dry about 3 times.

I prefer dry races but any F1 race is a good one. Unless my main driver gets taken out :)

Must admit I like a race that starts dry, then has a bit of rain part way through. Not enough to bring out the red flags, but just enough to reward the brave that stay out on slicks, or go back on slicks early after a shower. Spices things up nicely :D

Speaking of mixed conditions, do you guys remember the race in Canada 2011? Button went from last to first passing Vettel on the last lap. They were on slicks trying to stay on the dry lines.

That's the sort of thing that gets my juices flowing, coming from the back of the pack to the front. It's always the case that changeable track conditions, bring out some cracking moves like that. Must admit, I do like Button too, just a shame he hasn't got the tools to do the job this year. Looks like Hamilton made the right move going to Mercedes.

I always think of that 'trust' game we used to play in school - y'know, where you fall backwards with your arms crossed and hope the person behind you will catch you?

F1 sometimes reminds me of that game....taken to the N'TH degree! Those guys must trust each other's driving abilities unquestionably....that, or they're all just bonkers. :)

They're all just bonkers I'd say. The view in the rear view mirror is virtually non-existant, restricted view with the helmet on. I guess they probably get more info on the radio about approaching drivers than anything else.

What a rush though, passing someone at 150mph+, 6 inches away from making contact and an Armco barrier a few feet away. Almost as exciting as the buses I drive for a living

After all the years they spent in karts with no mirrors these must feel like a luxury. Although they all complain about how little you can see.
