Hey Class..why don't you and hubby come down here and go fishish with us? It's just pier fishing so no permits needed I think..Mike is 65 so he gets a free permit..the perks of being an old fart, free fishing and a discount at Homedepot...lol!
Anyway check with Walmart, they sell or at least can advise on permits. BTW, Mike says the little restaurant at the pier (ballast Point at the beginning of Bayshore near the base) is really nice if you and I get bored or hot!

i find fishing so relaxing. apparently here in tas, fly fishing is really popular. havnt tried it yet.
trout is really good here too. should get out and go fishing. the best thing i think i have ever caught was a mud crab :S

are mud crabs edible ? or are the the same as those teeny tiny sand crabs...?
