Ohhh, now my grandson is sick! We thought yesterday that his drooling and fever were from trying to cut his 2 yr molars. I went over to watch him while mommy went grocery shopping. I got him out of his crib after his nap and his mouth smelled funny, like he has some kind of infection. His little eyes are droopy, runny nose, etc. His drooling is because he doesn't know how to blow his nose (we're working on this lol) and can't breathe too well. He's keeping his mouth open to breathe.....he's hardly ever sick, but when he is, you sure can tell a difference. It WAS extra cuddle time though, so.....

Aw, I am sorry the little guy is sick! It is so hard to watch them get sick when they are so young. But you are right it is one of the few times that they are calm and cuddly. I had my grandson last year between Christmas and New Years. He was running a fever of close to 104! Needless to say I rushed him to the ER. Ended up having RSV. I had to use a breathing machine on him every 4 hours. Poor little thing was like a limp rag doll. He was so sick. I live 3 hours away from the parents and we decided to keep him here so that I could care for him rather than risking the trip home. He was only 1 at the time.

OMG- that's horrible stuff! My friend's grandaughter had RSV. I was taking care of her for a few hours and she actually quit breathing on me for about 2 minutes, while I was giving her her breathing treatments. Gawd she hated those- poor thing!
Jayden's got a dr appointment for tomorrow- I called his mom while she was shopping and told her to call the pediatrician's office asap and that it's not the molars either. She said his fever last night spiked 103- definately not a "teeth cutting" kind of fever

Ooh- 103 is too high. The baby was so sick that the breathing treatments were not hard to give to him. I just grabbed him from his crib and sat and rocked him. Put the nebulizer close enough to his face where he inhaled the medicine when he inhaled. Slept right through it. It scared me though because I live in a very rural area and was so afraid that something would happen and we wouldn't be able to get medical attention quick enough. I got next to no sleep at all that week.

Salem I told the bouncers at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues that my Buzz was a nebulizer...and it worked too!! Funny thing too me was the SC Vapers had a meet in there a couple of weeks prior.. I chose lying over educating....Even let him smell the Fuzzy...See it's orange flavored!!! Still got @ 70ml of that....Steeped...Salem the third time had better be the charm...I got a 30 of the toast heading east right now.....Got a few ordered with extra flavor as well...I commented to David like he said too do and added that it had slipped thru the cracks the second time as well...Got some from another reputable place sitting here now...Steeped and almost black...Kinda yucky too....one reason I calmed down trying too get more...Opened the 10 of Carmel Apple after a 1 week steep...Next order gonna try that at 2X.....Thanks for that offer...I'll be good in a day or three...I might smell it but I like to steep them without dripping any...Cap off 24 or so then to the cool dark place....Where the pitt bulls roam....MrsTT.....Get well soon......

Many viruses are air borne and can be transmitted from breathing the same air as somebody that is sick. I had my flu shot 9 days before I got sick but it is supposed to take 10 days to take effect. I usually get it much earlier but drug my feet this year. I actually think that it started last week. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving everything started tasting bad to me. Thanksgiving dinner tasted like everything was spoiled :-( I kept asking everyone if they were sure the food tasted good. I was the cook and was afraid that something had gone wrong.

Good news is that I found something (juice) that taste good while sick! Candycane to the rescue! I have been vaping Strawberry Twist and Butterscotch the past 2 days because I just didn't feel like filling a carto. Well the nic cravings were setting in from not vaping so I broke out an atty and dripped some Candycane into it. Ahhh, just right.

I was asking because I wanted to know what to look for so I could try to avoid getting sick myself. I know a lot of people who got the flu shot this year and they all got sick from it. At least that is what they told me.

Start taking vitamin C. I swear by the stuff. My throat is still sore and sinuses stuffy but I am feeling much better now that the fever is gone.

Dee, If you get something other then FT this time I would be shocked! They had new employees and lots going on back then but I will bet that your FT will be just fine.

Salem I got it today....What a relief....It's darker by a bunch and smells like it should...{Darker than the Fuzzy}... Took all my tips off while being careful and lining them up...Yep...Turned the Watermelon Bubblegum over......Grabbed that sucker up with lightening speed....Mind you a couple of others were already untipped and sitting right there....Didn't spill a drop....Hope you are feeling better Salem...and the toast,,,,she's a steepin'.........
