Hey OP, grammar Natzi, who is Phil Busardo that started the use of "juice" for eliquid? Maybe he's related to Pete Busardo who has the You Tube channel and tasteyourjuice, com?

Juice, joose, liquid, eliquid, smoke juice, works for me. Taking one's self too seriously makes for a long day.

Who is Phil Busardo? He's a really nice man... until you call him Pete...

johni, they are one and the same. He goes by PBusardo which is often heard as Pete Busardo. But his name is Phil. And I don't believe he started the term.

Come on, really?

Does everything and everyone need to be corrected?

One Like? Really? Am I the only one who found this LOL-able? :D

I vote for liquid, e-liquid or v-liquid (vaping liquid for e-cigs/apvs).
What we vape is v-liquid.

V-liquid? VAPOR LIQUID :D

Juice is for kids. eliquid is for college grads. v-liquid is for the rest of us... much like Festivus.

I like it! V-liquid. My vape liquid. It fits better and it sounds like e-liquid so it's easy to switch.

"I'm going to let my v-liquid mature for another week or two." Works for me.

And now, it's time for the feats of strength!

I do prefer the word 'liquid' over 'juice'. I also prefer 'vaping' over 'smoking', taking a 'puff', or a 'hit'. These terms are associated with smoking tobacco or something else. As far as I know, 'vaping' is specific to vaping.

I also dislike the word 'ecigarette'. The definition of a cigarette is a thin cylinder of finely cut tobacco rolled in paper for smoking. The implication is that it's, well, still a cigarette. That's not what we're doing. And it gives people who are not familiar with vaping the connotation that it's still 'evil'.

I agree. The terms vaping, PV, E-liquid do set it apart from smoking. And another thing: This forum sub/category is General E-Smoking? How come? I don't produce smoke when I vape, I'm a vaper - not a smoker or E-Smoker!

They called them Hot Dogs because
a) they looked like Dachshunds
b) to disparage the food and discourage its consumption due to the anti-german sentiment prevalent at the time
The term "hot dog" is credited to sports cartoonist Tad Dorgan. At a 1901 baseball game at the Polo Grounds in New York, vendors began selling hot dachsund sausages in rolls.
From the press box, Dorgan could hear the vendors yelling, "Get your dachshund sausages while they're red hot!" He sketched a cartoon depicting the scene but wasn't sure how to spell "dachshund" so he called them simply, "hot dogs." And the rest is history.

I'm not sure what the point of these are. But anyway, "juice" is a colloquial term to denote a valued liquid, especially a tasty one. With the prevalence of fruit flavorings in e-juice, this one is almost literal.

I personally have no problem with "juice," in fact it might make things sound friendlier and less harmful.

Just having fun with a theme angle on stuff we talk about all the time.

Don't take me seriously. I sure as hell don't.

He introduces himself as "Pete" at the beginning of every video.
