Time to add another mistake, minor but still a mistake.

I just have the 2 batteries 18650's,i use one and the other is in its plastic care or charging.
When i get low on battery i just pop in the fully charged one and put the other in the charger, basically this all the time..rinse and repeat.

Well today i forgot for the first time since i started vaping in november 2018,i was watching my favourite tv series ''Chuck'' and i swapped batteries but forgot to charge the other one,i just put it in the plastic case and forgot...

Thank god i had the OSMALL i won in the giveaway, otherwise i would have nothing to vape.

Guessing im not the first person that has had this happen to them, huh?

18650/2x700 Batteries are cheap considering how long they last. I'd recommend a 4 bay charger if you don't already have one. I have about 15 to 20 cells in rotation for several mods. Some of those get used in my LED flashlights. It's nice to have more than one mod ready to go. If you have to leave the house and your current mod is low on juice or battery charge you can pick up another and walk out the door.

Quite a few of my cells are years old, but they still have internal resistance less than 75 ohms due to cell rotation. A charger that measures internal resistance can help in matching the internal resistance of cells used in dual battery mods.

Mistakes ?? Not me ... ROFL
I get so tired of trying to push the button on the bottom end of my Provari. It's such a dud!!

Ever tried to drip .... outside .... in the dark??
Had an apple flavored hand for a while.
When I did finally find the hole, I must of squirted about 20 drops into that lil 510 atty!

OH-and, how do ya think I came up with that tag line!?!

I made a very recent vape mistake, one that can't really be fixed. I uh, overfilled some of my nic bottles in transferring them into glass. I mean not ALL of them I am just a somewhat inconsistent pourer... I hear that is bad (I somehow missed this key piece of information before, and like, well, i am hearing stories about flying lids once the nic defrosts. I sure hope not. My only saving grace was I bottled at room temp AND I guess I can just wait until it's at room temp to open it or whatever.

But.... I can't FIX it is the annoying part because opening them is like, gonna be the same experience whether I do it NOW or later. Oh well, it's probably 1/6 of them that are really super full I guess it could be worse and well, things might get very EXCITING. I think I am either gonna get them over with first or wait until last.

I have more nic to bottle it will have more consistent headroom.

Oh well, I suppose I could have worse problems, like no nic in bottles that would really suck.

I used Leaford's lanyard to try the Taryn spin. The bloody carto went airborne and made a hole in the wall. That was my first and last attempt. :D
I taped my carto's to the edge of the ceiling fan, inside those silicone condom things they used to come in, filled with juice and turned it on high. Worked pretty well, until one day I forgot about it and it ran for a couple hours. I was watching TV when I heard a loud crash coming from my mixing station. Nearly jumped out of my skin. Tape came loose and the carto shot off like it was propelled by a slingshot into all my mixing supplies. Lol.

I don't know. For years I filled my nic bottles all the way to the top. Somewhere I read that you should leave a little space and the last couple of bottles I did that. But I never had a problem. I've used quite a few of the old bottles and nothing bad happened.

Early in my vaping career I bought a Fogger. I didnt have a clue what I was doing. The vape shop told me there was a coil already in it. I didnt check. I put juice in it and took a hit off it. There was this horrifying take your breath away fume. I coughed and choked. When i finally recovered i took it apart only to realize there was plastic where the wick should have been. Now I check every atty for everything before puffing.

The Erl and provari have never been properly introduced, this may be a match made in the stars, prophesied aeons ago

It never ceases to amaze me how different we vapers are. I sold my Provari 2 or 3 years ago. I never really meant to sell it, not then, anyway, but I saw a wanted thread in the classies and somebody was looking for a satin mini--and my satin mini with blue light (+ extra springs, extra batteries, beauty rings, extension caps and a tube of some paste we were supposed to apply to the threads) had been sitting unloved and unused in my vapocalypse box. Well, I took it as a sign from above and that was the end of my ProVari days.

But I still have two Erlkonigin clones from FT--the only atty in my 10+ years of vaping I could never get to work properly. No matter how I tried. It would vape for a few minutes and then it would dump all the eliquid--without a warning or provocation. The only one. Ask @DPLongo22 if you don't believe me. He knows. ;)

    Anyway, I wish you luck!

The provari is all but mine, just a matter of time and some money :D it suits my vaping style still, and I'm not sure why I ever sold it.

As far as Erls go, I've only used the authentic and even then they are a bit tricky, but once you know the ways of it.. you're golden. I have a heap of Erl clones, but haven't used them. They are spare parts if it really came down to it(mostly interested in the poly tanks), but I'm guessing they could be vaped just fine. I'm guessing the incorrect o-rings were supplied and if you had slightly beefier ones for the tank, it would work like a charm. It needs to have a proper seal, and the wick needs to be just right.. or else, like what happened to you, it's no bueno. I'm not sure who the bigger Erl fanboy is.. me or @DPLongo22 he certainly has the motherlode hoard of them.

I agree. I always suspected, honestly, that those cheap clones might be defective. I'm a reasonably competent vaper and I have never, ever had an atty that just wouldn't cooperate at all.

LOL! Why does it amaze you, Katya? We'll all different.

The Erls dump if they're not tightened up COMPLETELY. With each fill (min. once per day), I'm conscious to hold the top cap while I screw in the DT adapter. If not done properly, they'll dump out. It's only happened a couple of times to me, but it's definitely an issue, especially with the clones.

I get it, and NEVER think that others will like something because I like it. One thing you'll very rarely (if ever) hear from me is, "You've GOT to try {XYZ}!". Vaping is at the top of the chain where "Personal preference" is concerned, and I LOVE it for that.

Only one of the clones was REALLY good. I think they're Tobecco. Pretty much indistinguishable, if I'm to be honest. There were others that are TERRIBLE though. I threw those all away. Kaka!!!

You're right, It shouldn't. I do have a box, labeled "taste is subjective," full of all kinds of gear and flavorings that were somebody's must-haves. ;)

Biggest mistake I made was buying the VapourArt GP PAPS TiX #11 when I did not want one for myself on their sale day (July 2014). I already had 10 of their mods and endless accessories, spares and toppers for them. The TiX is a very limited unicorn titanium mech tube mod with aluminium bronze accents, spares, belt carrier, etc. Only 89 of them would be available to the public and it was estimated that around 3000 people in the 91 countries they sold to would be fighting for them when the sale went live. For well over a month before then on their forum the folks that ran it posted constantly about wanting one... to the point that if you missed a day on the forum you could be hundreds of posts behind. It became a game... some folks were defiantly on the bench to buy one, and there were folks that were teetering on the fence to see if they could raise the capital to buy one of these expensive mech tube mods (US530+ with the exchange rates back then). Perseas (the owner) was a master at marketing his gear and IMO a very fine gentleman that I did consider a personal friend. Anyway, who was on the bench or the fence changed as often as hourly. Very few of those folks on the bench would be fast enough on their computer to score one when the sale went live, so I bought one to hold in reserve for someone on the forum who was on the bench when it went live but has missed out in getting one. A random generator would decide which of them would get this one for my out of pocket cost for it with shipping to the US, and shipping/insurance at my cost to send it to them. IIRC 14 folks were in the hunt. Some of them dropped out, but none of them would pay in full up front (like they would have had to do at the sale). I didn't mind helping folks out, but I was not going to settle for "payments" for 6-12 months or some other arbitrary time period to pay for it. Hence, it is still brand new all these years later with all its accessories, and will never be sold to anyone. It is the reminder that keeps me from ever falling into this kind of trap again for what amounted to just being acquaintances on the net that I did not know personally.

This picture is from VapourArts website. I had the owners permission to use them when the company was still alive (so I imagine he would not mind now).

    vapouart_img_8054.jpg

Only pictures I took of #11 was in a stand with some of my other GP PAPS X's and V3's. The TiX is in the middle, has one of their SnP tanks on it with the SS sleeve installed instead of the glass one. The other four X's have their Heron tanks on them, and the outer two V3's have custom Senio Drippers that were made for them in Poland.

    7-11.jpg

I no longer vape, but they would still be my favorite mech tube mods if I did. However, soon after I got the TiX they were all replaced by an army of Reos.
