Kayte, Heather looks like a new experiment done with tissue paper. Love it! Am a "plaidy" kind of person.
Close! But not quite. That would be the Butterfly Migration tip! (Never would have guess that, huh? And that would be because I did it wrong. ) Heather was the same principle, but not tissue paper. :D
You've got to get one of these!......'Cept I snagged the only one? Ha! "For All Occasions" is a wonderful mix of metallic rich medium pink, medium blue, light blue, red and lavender jagged color laid over a black base and sprinkled all over with multiple colored teeny, tiny glitter. The technique reminds you of the "cracked" tips, but it's not! Happy surprise. :)

Now this tip is a "shorter than normal" one for me, but mostly is a smooth up and down one with a flared bottom.....(Sirius, I know you want to say something here, BUT!)......So, it still works with my big mouth! (Sirius!) AND, it is an excellent size for the mini Nauti's, ProTanks & Davides that I use which is most of the colors and and several of the Bedazzle glasses, but it still looks good on the bigger PT's and Davides.

For All Occasions is a wonderful work of art suitable for just about anything you want to set it on. Thank you, Kayte. Lovely work! :)

And that's why Doug named it 'For All Occasions' .......... and I let him. Isn't it a fun one? It was quite colorful enough, but the touch of sparklies put it over the top. :D Glad you like it!
COFFEE....yes :)Good Morning.

Stress test at the doc's this morning from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm, oh yeah it is going to be a great day.
Is this for you or your employer? :( Sounds like a miserable day and I'm sorry you've had to endure it, either way!

It's cold here today! Have had a few fires in the stove and needing another one now. Brr!

We had police along with a helicopter and Search and Rescue working across the road from us last night, hunting for a man that got lost. Silly city people coming out to pick pinon and not paying attention to where they are. :( We took them a pot of coffee at around 9pm and they were still hunting. Way to cold at night to be lost on a mountain.
I'm assuming they found him since they were packed up and gone this morning and I haven't heard the helicopter. I really think they should have come over and informed us, though. That would have been the polite thing to do. :sneaky: :pervy:

Doug came in a bit ago and told me "about having tips this evening... abandon all hope.":cry::(
Guess we're now planning for Saturday evening! :thumb:

Katya, could he have used a different sized Subtank? I'm using the "mini" and the chimeny sits "on" the inner white plastic ring right at the top of the coil housing with silver housing part flaring out and around the chimney. :) It he's using a larger Subtank or maybe the original, could be the chimney IS too long to be able to fit the non-Nauty BVC in. :(......Think I saw somewhere where the Nano Subtank can also use the BVC's.

Thanks, CCG! :D

So it's the length of the glass tubes, not the chimney, that that made the difference, correct? Interesting. Navigator (in another thread) couldn't get his BVCs to work in his silver Sub but I'm not quite sure why...

Please excuse the OT interruption...

Have a nice day, everyone. Carry on! :)
Haha! Hi Katya! OT is the norm around here.
I'm back & ready to spend money i don't have!!!!

I'm not sure if I was unclear in my previous description. The BVC coil screws into the base of the tank just fine, but when I put on the top of the tank, the chimney does not want to insert into the top hole of the coil. This prevents me from being able to screw the tank all the way together--all the juice would just leak out. I didn't want to force things and ruin my STM.

So, you're saying the STM's chimney enters into the hole in the top of the coil housing and presses against the silicone ring. Right? My STM's chimney doesn't want to enter into the hole. Maybe I'll try a different BVC.

Hi, Navigator. :) The Aspire BVC I'm using is the "Replacement" and not the Nautilus. This replacement BVC is shorter than the Nauty's. The chimney of my Subtank mini sits on top of the white ring insert at the top of the BVC and is not to go into the chimney nor the chimney insert into the BVC. Hope this helps.;)

Navigator, I just got another BVC out of the pack and tried it with my black and my white Subtanks (am using the silver with the BVC right now) and dry fitted without the glass on so I could get a good look. You are corrent in that it DOES NOT sit on the silicone inserted ring but the surrounding metal! So I can only guess that the BVC's you're using are longer than mine.

I'm glad it was for bossypoo (LOL) and not you. Hope all the tests come back fine and dandy so maybe she can relax and enjoy life a bit. ;)
