I can't sleep  I'm just to worried about this little gal.

O16J8HA.jpg

Samantha is 15 years old and she has to go to the hospital today to have a tumor removed. The darn thing just popped up out of nowhere, tests on it came back inconclusive then they wanted to do a biopsy. So I told them if you have to cut around on her your going to remove the whole thing.

I'm just so worried, it is going to be a loooong day.If you have a moment send some good thoughts her way, she can use them.

She is precious!! Hope she does well with her surgery and keep us updated! It is best that they get good margins tho and she should do well. One of my oldies had a tumor pop up quickly in her toe and the vet just removed the whole toe to get good margins. Biopsy came back neg. :) So paws and fingers crossed for Samantha :)

He's dropped a few, so it'd probably be best if he didn't have a random segmented. lol He's broken one tip, but it was just a little chip, not bad. Shattered the glass on his nautilus though. :(

Isn't it great when you survive the teens years and can be friends once they're adults.
Hope your girls settle down and make up.

Since you don't mind my grandkid stuff :D ... my daughter caught this video yesterday of my youngest grandchild. She'll be two in just a couple of weeks! Her big brother is the one with the light. Who needs a kitty when you have a Lydi?

That video is so funny!!! What a little doll baby :)

And thanks Kayte, the girls finally got over whatever their tiff was. Took Gracie, my therapy dog upstairs and did some of her training "exercises" to get her mind off it and then gave everyone a bully stick chew which occupied their time for a bit. After all of that, things were back to "normal" LOL

Well, I better get off here for now. Hubbs is headin to TN to ref a college basketball game. Since I am off this weekend, I'm going to go mind his store today. He has a mattress showroom/store (mostly organic) and being a small business doesn't have alot of outside help. So his help is me today! LOL

Healing paws, happy thoughts and doggie prayers coming from our house (and doggies) to yours Splatnext. Please keep us informed today.

Lydi cracked me up. Is that her full name or short for something? Your grands have the cutest names, Kayte.

OK, it's operation Christmas shopping. We're having our Mississippi family Christmas next Sunday since we'll be leaving to go have Christmas with the Colorado family. Sure would be easier if my kids lived in the same place.

My CO DIL flew in to New Orleans yesterday for a funeral in Louisiana so she'll be here tomorrow for a couple days so she can visit a little with her college buddies around here. Need to get the guest room ready!

Splatnext ... Our thoughts are with you and Samantha today. Please let us know how she is doing. My furry children have their paws crossed. I know how hard this is, especially with our senior babies.

Lezlee ... Thought you had your Christmas shopping all done online? Should be fun on a Saturday this close to the holiday! :-() I think I left the guest bedroom in fairly good shape. Hope so...thought I'd be the next visitor in February. Say Hi to Valarie for me.

Kayte ... Lydi is just too cute and too funny and so serious about catching that "thing". Bet she keep the adults around her very entertained!

Here we go! :) Got hubby's Christmas Party tip in. "Koi" is a solid black base with thin swirling, swooping yellow lines. We've got several tips in different colors with this type of line going through them, and he likes them because there's enough design to them without being "girly"......Actually, I really like them too when I want a "non frilly" day. It's interesting to note that none of the lines intersect each other. They'll meet once, but not cross over.

Since he wanted me to open to be sure everything was alright.....being that he's far away and all......and make sure the vapor would come thru, it took me no time to slap "Koi" on the Bedazzled Nauti I was using on top of the still black skinned Vapor Shark. Oh, does it look classy! :w00t: Am thinking I could use the Bedazzle tube with the BIG yellow flowers with green leaves and a touch of orange and black in their centers. BUT! Got to remember, tip is his......mostly. :p

My fingers have been doing the shopping so far. I have to venture out though in a while. Then my granddaughters 10th birthday dinner tonight. Her choice of restaurants scares me a little. We don't usually like to frequent the same kind of places. LOL

Only a few more gifts to go and some of the adult kids are getting small things and CASH. I give up on them.

You know, I should've tried the light trick when my kids were that age. Would have at least given me 5 mins. of down time. :p

Also, if you have any Davides or ProTanks around you can turn them into Nauti's by buying the NON Nauti BVC, adapter rings, and air flow controller. Vaping right now on my green glassed Davide adapted to BVC with Hurricane (black, bright green, purple and off white swirls with tiny glitter bought on Girls Night) on top of black skinned VS......If only I could put myself together to look so good. Anyway, the Davide is vaping like the mini Nauti. The flavor and vapor is there. :)
Well I'll be. I do have protank2's sitting here being neglected. I'll have to see if I can find the right coils etc., and get them back in the swing of things. :D Thanks!

Aww Splat! I'm sorry for the rough day for both you and Samantha. Hope it goes quickly, successfully and ends with a good report.

Lydi is short for Lydia. Lydi when she's cute. Lydia Kaye when she's in trouble. Kaye is actually my middle name and I think my daughter has way too much fun getting after Lydi with it.
Evie is short for Evelyn. My grandmothers name was Evie and my mom's name was Evelyn. My daughters middle name is also Evelyn. Evie suits granddaughter perfectly. Short, cute and sassy.

I like the part when she decides to just lay her head down and pretend she's not interested in catching the dot anymore. And yes... she is very entertaining.

The Bedazzle tube sounds perfect with that tip! I think you should set it all up for when your hubby gets home so he can see just how wonderful it is.

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter!!

I'm about ready to give up and do cash for my kids, too.
I'm getting my son a couple of movies that he watched relentlessly when he was a kid... until his sister hid them inside a wall. (We were doing major construction on the house and she saw her opportunity to never have to watch them again. I'm considering getting them for her kids as well, just so she can be tortured with them now. I'm a nice mom. Really. But aside from that... I'm at a loss.

What DO thirty something married people like these days? My DIL's aren't too hard but the guys....Geesh. My thing with Christmas is to try to buy something they won't buy themselves. The adult girls got Coach purses last year, leather jackets the year before, etc.

This year, the CO kids have a new home so they're getting more practical use home items. The joke in our family is that I have to buy the boys' boxers. I didn't one year and they complained so much about not getting new "drawers", it became a joke. Sometimes they open them and then swap and barter. LOL

I love the movie idea. That is so funny she hid them in a wall. That's the kind of stuff I love to do at Christmas. In fact, you just gave me a great idea Kayte!! Thanks!!

Here is the good news...

o4qehRT.jpg

Sami showing of her pink bandage.

The ended up not operating, telling us that Sami has most likely cancer and since the tumor grew about another third since we rushed her in Black Friday, it would put her under to much stress and she is simply to old.We could try an Oncologist and try radiation to see if it shrinks.
So we decided as long as she is pain free and happy we will leave her be.

My relationship to that little imp is a little complicated, her true mommie is my boss whom she terrorizes to tears.
When I first met them the boss was facing a long hospital stay and no one to take our little terror Sami, I took her home with me and fostered her for the next six month, she promptly fell in love with the hubby, she just adored him but then she knew where he kept the treat bag.
You caught that quite right Choo, she was in trouble in that pic, she had gotten in to the after dinner goodie bag and stole a large piece of ham and two baked potatoes. What you see in the picture was all that was left, a piece of baked potato.

Any how I'm only her second mom but how can you not love that little imp.So we will just have to take it one day at the time and enjoy her for how ever long she will stay with us.At least I can go home to mu own pound pup and bury my face in his fur.

On a much brighter note I came home to a super surprise. My Copper Pine Cones is here. :D she is gorgeous and vapes like a dream, I'll take a picture tomorrow when the sun will caress all the hidden beauty out of her.

Besides if I step out of my front door right now I will commit murder...new neighbor feels the need to share his taste in musik with the whole block.
