Congrats angel on the new grand baby coming up! :) Our third one is due in late Jan. My daughter and her hubby decided they didn't want to know the sex. So now she is wondering why they haven't received hardly any clothes as shower gifts. Duh....LOL

Congrats to you...and your daughter and her hubby, too! Will this be her first?

Dale, been looking at your new cute puppy avatar and wondering how you hold her hair out of her eyes and keep that big poofy bow in! Tell her the next time I go to the North Pole (AK just north of Fairbanks), I'll put a good word in for her. :p

  Elly is soooo excited !!

I love the feel of the wood on the Woodvils. I'd love to get one when he runs the new 18650's but it's going to be a feeding frenzy. Kind of like a MhM party!! :)

I scored this one in perfect condition in the classifieds. I sometimes see them on the Reoville FB page too. Just have to keep an eye out and they go quick!

Aw-w-w-w, Dale. Elly does a "high four" too!

Ms.Cruzer, did you go to the Christmas shop off the main hwy. and see the reindeer outside? :) It's was more a village than a town when I was there.

Iowa Gal, I'd say you have a full time job getting ready especially when both sides of family are coming!

I really can't remember that we did much of anything while we were at the North Pole. My girlfriend was looking for a restaurant that had been on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. We've been to Alaska four times, it's my favorite place on earth in the early summer while there's still snow on the mountains.

This year we spent about 10 days there. There were 4 couples and we concentrated only on the Kenai peninsula. Stayed at Aleyeska Resort a couple of nights then rented houses in Homer and Seward. We had a GREAT trip! Well, except for that 17 hour travel time and 3 flights to get there.

Year before, we jumped on a cruise in Seward and cruised back to Vancouver to avoid such a long return flight and get another glimpse of that inside passage but first spent a week running around the Kenai area. Just love that place.

Stayed at the same Alexyeska Resort back in 1995! :w00t: Got to salmon fish with the bears and saw eagles by the hundreds perched on bare branched trees as we boated on by.......I think the bears knew we were catching fish for them! :p Since dau. lived up there, she set up trip thru friends who were in the guide and fishing business. Went there before going to Talkeetna where her cabin was 9 miles outside of town......three miles of "cat" road, then last two miles walk in. The series Northern Exposure took their setting from Talkeetna......and maybe some of the characters.
